Super clean, simple and comfortable room plenty big for one. Wonderful friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast buffet for the price. 5 minutes from the station, and conbini and supermarket nearby. A couple restaurants in the same complex as well as a great crepe shop, a huge farmers market, and space to hang out outside. Only about 20 minutes to Morioka, but the train is every 30 min or so.

The owner of the Ryokan was sweet and thoughtful. She was very thorough with showing the amenities and helpful with making sure we didn't leave anything behind.. i felt like I was at my grandparents home <3 I also loved that they had books you could borrow, a family bath style onsen inside that you can lock for privacy and it came with shampoo, conditioner and body wash for the shower. Everybody in my group really loved this place and hope to come back soon!

The site is a brand new construction of container units - but remodeled in a way that makes them excellent small cabins. The unit, while small, was cozy, comfortable, and very clean. The site offered a private dry sauna, an outdoor cold bath (which we didn't use...), a gas grill, and a large outdoor deck with picnic table. The attraction of this location is the unit itself - as an area for a private party (of maybe 4 people) or a place for a couple to enjoy a romantic getaway in Iwate but still in an urban setting. The property provided dinner option was amazingly good! Surf and turf (and veggie) cuts for you to fix on the grill - and not cheap cuts either. The steak was outstanding, as were the seafood selections.

The staffs were very helpful and professional . From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly staff who made check-in a breeze. Everybody there was so kind. Went above and beyond to make my stay there great. They called cabs for me and made sure the driver knew where I wanted to go. Room was authentic, clean, and well equipped. They brought a nighttime snack which was unexpected and very nice. Breakfast was wonderful. My first time at an onsen but I thought it was great !! My only regret was that my children weren’t with me to enjoy !!
