I don't think it's possible to overstate the experience we had staying at Lodge Stack. Our little family of 4 really felt totally at home and comfortable with Papa-san and Mama-san. You're welcomed into their home, where there's an array of "things" - little keepsakes, random decorations, photos, trinkets, and other things you'd expect to see in someone's home. The hosts were ready to attend to every need that we had, and we really enjoyed the time spent in the main dining/sitting area, chatting with other guests just enjoying the atmosphere. I'd really recommend this place to anyone, but we found it extremely family-friendly. There is a 7/11 at the end of the main road as well, so you're not too far from food or snacks. It's also easily in walking distance of a giant playground with a great view of Mt Fuji.

Cyokiya Lake Saiko offers a public bath and free private parking, and is within 9.5 miles of Lake Kawaguchi and 10 miles of Fuji-Q Highland.

The hotel is close to several attractions, including Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba. The host is very nice and treated us to a delicious breakfast of bread and salad. It offers great prices and free parking!

Narusawaso offers accommodations in Narusawa, 17 miles from Mount Fuji and 3.2 miles from Fujiomuro Sengen Shrine.

The owner is absolutely gorgeous & so helpful! He went out his way to offer us a lift to the station once for our Fuji climb and once for our train to Kyoto, he printed out the bus instructions for us, He let us in slightly early after our climb for check in too! We loved how authentic and cosy it was - additionally he let us leave our bags with him whilst we slept overnight on the mountain. Views of Fuji from our balcony too! Aircon works lovely & he offered a free drink to everyone per night in the fridge. He goes out of his way which was just spectacular. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

This hostel is very welcoming. The hosts were very kind and warm, the rooms were clean, comfortable and filled with small details. There is a living room with a kitchen, table and sofas downstairs available to the guests filled with many thoughtful elements, such as several kings of tea, snacks, books and comic books available for the guests. It brought back memories of visiting my grandparents in childhood. Additionally, this hostel is located less than 5 minutes walk away from the train station. I cannot recommend this place enough! If I visit mount Fuji area, I will definitely choose Hana Hostel again.

Best experience so far on my travels through Japan. The host was incredibly kind, the facilities were clean and you could see the overall effort that they put into this guesthouse. I didn’t use the kitchen but it was filly equipped. There are also a lot of restaurants and cafés really close. He even drove me to the train station in the morning because it was raining. I’ll stay again on my next trip!

Feels like our home. The owner Taeko San very kind, great hospitality. The house is neat, clean, comfortable, such a wonderful & unique place you have to visit.The house also is a well maintained heritage and traditional Japanese house. Will definitely come again on our next trip.
