Was awesome to meet the owner we helped and guided us on how to use the heater and let us know about the 160year old history of the house. It was very interesting! The house is very rustic, has a full kitchen and has ample parking for 2-3 cars. The dinner arrangement with the local artist was amazing and fun! Not to mention this place is like 5mins away from kiyotsu gorge. I highly recommend this place!

I never rate a 10. But this felt like it deserved it for me. The place is so well taken care of, tastefully decorated while feeling both new and traditional. I was first hesitant about having a whole house by myself. Would it feel too big and empty? Funny enough, it was truly the highlight of my trip. I HIGHLY recommended it. Maiko was also so wonderful and went out of her way to make the stay as comfortable as possible, stopped for groceries, and gave me a ride back to the station! Definitely will come back!

The couple were very sweet with us and their hospitality was wonderful. They ensured we were warm and were very kind throughout our stay. I would stay there again for a family friendly trip as it was much like sleeping over someone's house.
