STOP your endless scrolling, CLOSE all your tabs, and BOOK this hotel now! It was so unbelievably good that when my partner and I returned to Tokyo later in our trip, we literally canceled our existing reservation just to come back here. I can’t overstate how perfect everything was: the design feels straight out of a futuristic film - from the sleek lobby to the stunning rooms with mesmerizing views, and even the building itself, which rises like a lighthouse over Shibuya. The location speaks for itself. The gym was slick, the breakfasts indulgent, and the overall vibe unmatched. I honestly can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Tokyo. As a cherry on top, my partner celebrated his birthday here, and the staff went above and beyond to make it truly unforgettable.

The hotel location is very strategic, just opposite the Shiomi Station and easy to catch train to town. 20 minutes distance to Haneda Airport by taxi. Nice and comfortable room. Lots of extra amenities provided at the lobby for customers i.e. shavers, hairbrush, aromateraphy soap, various flavour of tea and a lot more. The front desk team is very friendly and helpful.

FAQs about hotels in Tokyo

See It to Believe It!

The capital of Japan, Tokyo is a vast, teeming metropolis nestled between mountains and Tokyo Bay. It’s so huge that you’ll have to come to grips with public transport and maybe even experience being pushed onto a train. Yes, it does actually happen!

Get your bearings by ascending the Tokyo World Trade Center near the waterfront, and savor the fantastic views taking in the red-and-white Tokyo Tower and Shinkuju’s skyscrapers. North is Ueno, home to the best museums (including the Tokyo National Museum) and a large park bursting with cherry blossom in spring.

Equally tranquil are the Chiyoda Imperial Palace and Gardens, surrounded by water. Also in gardens is the Meiji Jingu Shinto shrine in Shibuya, a youthful district where neon abounds.

For more traditional Japanese culture, head to Asakusa whose Sensō-ji Buddhist temple is Tokyo’s oldest temple. Outdoor markets sell a variety of wares, though shopping in Tokyo is, of course, fantastic wherever you go.

Whether you stay in a Japanese ryokan, luxury Tokyo hotel or a hostel, don’t fly out of Tokyo Narita Airport or Haneda Airport without having tried sushi. Another Japanese institution is the sento (public bath) and onsen (hot springs bath) – a must try. Also incredibly popular are Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, Asia’s 2 most visited theme parks.

Largest city in the world, it's like many cities joined together. Great shopping malls everywhere and eateries abound whichever district one is in. Very clean city, abundant public toilets which have to be the cleanest I have ever used. Lots to see and do. Public workers are extremely jolly and helpful and seem very happy in their work which makes it a very welcoming albiet huge city. Transport is also very good but make sure you work out what cards you need and if travelling around by train make sure you book in advance as you need to reserve your seats preferably. There are different train cards too and usage of the JR pass can be confusing too. Trains are excellent too.

Tokyo Dome Hotel was perfect for the concert we saw at the dome, but also near enough to subway stations, so that we could get to other neighbourhoods. Shibuya and Shinjuku were awesome. Took Bullet train to Osaka and stayed four nights. Did day trips to Nara and Kobe, and I rented a motorcycle to ride into the hills around Osaka. Stunning!! Stayed in Candeo Tower in Osaka...loved the Onsen on the 32nd floor (went at 3am each night to beat the crowds...had the spa to myself...sitting in the water outside, looking out over downtown Osaka in the rain...legendary!!

This was my eighth visit to Tokyo since 2015, but the first time with my elder son. From the perspective of living in the UK Tokyo is another world. Eating out and grocery prices seem cheap with over 200 yen to the GBP during our visit. Public transport is superb and again, seems cheap compared to the UK. Customer service in shops and restaurants is to a very high standard although tipping is not expected. Above all you feel safe exploring freely in Tokyo which has a very low crime rate. As a pedestrian the fact that Japan drives on the left is an added bonus. Not forgetting public toilets which are numerous, clean and always free of charge unlike most places in Europe. A superb destination.

Location was great, especially for those exploring Shinjuku/Shibuya. Very vibrant nightlife. The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Stayed in a standard double room -- non-smoking. My husband and I thought the room was a perfect size for us. This is not always the case being an American traveler in Japan, as Japan's hotel rooms are much smaller.
