Room was spacious, hot water came very fast, hotel is walking distance to Sensoji, not much to complain about. If you want somewhere REALLY close to a subway station you might want to look elsewhere, but Ichiyu was about 10-12 mins from the closest one.

The hotel was in a very convenient location just a 10 minute walk from Akihabara station. Additionally, there were tons of restaurants and convenience store nearby as well. The host was very understanding and accomodating with our check-in time; our flight got delayed, which made us late, but the host prepared and emailed us detailed instructions for a self check-in to ensure a comfortable and smooth start to our stay. They also have pretty good wifi for their guests!

We did a last minute booking since our trip was cut short and had to stay in Tokyo for a night. So glad that we found this place. We took Shinkansen to Ueno station. It's only 1km walk to this place. Then the next day we took Skyliner to Narita airport from Keisei Ueno station which is only 1km away. Ginza line stop is only 600m away. The neighborhood is quiet and neat. There are a decent sized fridge and also a microwave in the room. It would be a nice place to stay for a few days.
