If you’re looking to explore Yokohama or take day trips into Tokyo, this is the most convenient location you can find. It is located just outside of Yokohama Station, and is surrounded by hundreds of amazing restaurants, large malls, grocery and drugstores. The hotel itself is very new, modern, and clean. There is a gym, self service luggage room, and self check-in/out. We stayed in the residential double room, and it was the perfect choice for longer stays as there is a well-equipped kitchenette (utensils, pots/pans, stovetop, rice cooker, fridge/freezer, etc) and laundry wash/dryer with detergent in the room. The rooms are beautifully designed with calming light wood tones, with high end furnishings including a Toto Neorest toilet! There was ample closet and storage space, as well as space to relax and place out luggage. This may be one of the best rooms we’ve stayed in, and we have been to 20+ hotels in Japan. Cleaning staff did an excellent job keeping the rooms spotless and tidy, and reception staff were efficient and polite. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay in Yokohama! We hope to be back again!

The room size was much larger than other hotels I've stayed at in Japan. The rooms are really well designed and super quiet. The bath tub is divine...very deep and perfect for soaking after walking all day. The location is perfect. Close to trains and easy to walk everywhere. The mall is 2 blocks away and the 4th floor has great food. The bar is really nice and the staff were just wonderful. I really enjoyed my stay. I would like to thank the bar staff for their kindness.

I came in off Royal Princess Cruise ship after 19 sea nights. I loved the location, the hot tub and body products, the ice bucket provided for my 1996 Grande Dame Veuve Clicquot and the high floor view overlooking Yokohama harbour and several cruise ships. I could also see fireworks from China town as I sipped my champagne. The bidet is a nice warm experience as you sit on a hot comfy toilet seat. I liked the pjs provided for me but they won’t fit you if you are bigger than a size 12 Australian sizing ladies.. the mini bar fridge is not cold but I managed to get someone to take the fridge plate out and fix it as I was paying just over $450 Australian per night x 3 nights. So I expected a cold mini fridge I have stayed in Hyatts all over the world and the Hyatt in Yokohama is lovely. I had originally booked a corner suite by the recommendation of a telephonist but paid extra to get a king deluxe suite. After my own research found out the other suites had better views. The safe is quite lengthy and wide. The bathroom shower has excellent pressure. The hot tub is just that. A tub. If you have average to long legs you definitely can’t stretch your legs out. It’s a tub built for one. I still enjoyed the hot tub my heart rate was 98/146 after my bath. It triggered something. I really liked the turn down service I ordered on a couple of nights. It was like having two delightful fairies fly in and get down to business tidy up and replace anything required and fly out . Incredible and wonderful.

Location was perfect. Train/subway stations were within walking distance and buses were easily accessible. Restaurants and convenience stores close by. Visited many Yokohama attractions. Ride to Central Tokyo and other locations (Ginza, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Setagaya) took some time, but it was manageable. Public spa was a plus.

We found Yokohama a delightful city with many attractions to visit. We made us of the bus, train and taxis and were able to travel around the city easily. Yokohama has a much more open feeling about it especially with the beautiful gardens in the waterfront area.

Any water view is beautiful, and Yokohama has plenty!

Any water view is beautiful, and Yokohama has plenty! It is so relaxing. Take a stroll along the waterfront in Yamashita Park where the gardens are enchanting. The flowers were so pretty and there are plenty of benches. There are a lot of coffee shops and places to get ice cream. The World Porters mall has several nice stores with unique Japanese items like fingertip towels, bags and wind chimes. There are a few inexpensive restaurants on the eighth floor. You could have a beer and a window seat for about eight dollars. So, I did it "on the cheap", but still had a nice time. You can use the MM subway line if you don't want to walk. I went from my room in Shibuya to right in front of my hotel without getting off the train.

Yokohama surprised me—not with big, dramatic moments, but with quiet beauty and a sense of calm I didn’t know I needed. It’s the kind of city that welcomes you gently and leaves you wanting more. Some of my favourite spots? Yamashita Park at sunset was pure peace, with the sea breeze and skyline setting the mood. I also loved Minato Mirai—especially the view from the Cosmo Clock Ferris wheel. And strolling through Sankeien Garden felt like stepping into a painting; it’s a hidden gem I’d happily return to. We ate our way through Chinatown, sampling dumplings, buns, and spicy noodles—it was vibrant and full of character. For a slower pace, we enjoyed coffee and pastries at a small café tucked inside the English Rose Garden—a peaceful spot surrounded by blooms, where time seemed to slow down just enough for a proper pause. Getting around was easy. The Minatomirai Line and JR lines are well-connected, and many places were walkable once we got to the right area. It’s a very tourist-friendly city. What would I skip next time? Probably the Red Brick Warehouse on a weekend—it was packed and felt a little too commercial. Beautiful, but better enjoyed on a quieter day. Yokohama may not shout for attention, but it whispers to the soul—and that’s why I’d go back.

Wonderful city with lots of outdoor spaces and parks to enjoy. Lots of excellent shopping areas without the crowds of Tokyo. Easy to walk to different attractions. Ramen Museum and Sankeien Garden are must! Only 40 minute train ride to Tokyo or Haneda Airport. Hotel rooms are much cheaper than in Tokyo. Lovely day trip but even better to spend a few nights in this lovely city!

Great hotel, wonderful sea front view room, spacious, with a Japanese style bathroom. In a quiet area of Yokohama, but 4 minutes walk away from bustling Chinatown and tube station. Personnel was very kind and helpful. The entrance is a bit hidden. I arrived on a stormy evening and the taxi had to turn around the block twice before we could find it. It is a shared entrance with the restaurant The Anchor. From there an elevator takes you to the 12 floor where the reception is.

EVERYTHING!!! We had a king sized room on floor 11, the room was very spacious and the view was incredible for the price we paid too! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, no issues with the little Japanese that we could speak. Dining at the hotel was also exceptional, and the provided carpark across the street was also a real treat with our stay. The location was also fantastic being just up the road from Yokohama Chinatown and various attractions.

We stayed for two nights to begin our Japan trip. It was a perfect spot to experience Yokohama. Everything was in walking distance and the Metro was directly underneath the hotel. We got a little surprise as it was our honeymoon. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I needed to see an doctor and they helped me out, booked an appointment and checked the way for me. All in all great stay and absolutely worth it.
