A calm place on a hill with views across the tree tops to Yoshino. Mrs Terashima is a brilliant cook and runs a cafe of great charm. Beautiful gluten free vegetarian meals were prepared for me. I recommend taking the opportunity to have dinner cooked by her. You may attend morning prayers. This opportunity I recommend taking. Quite far up a hill so you have a nice view over the river and the city. Looks very well-kept and is clean. Loved the tatami bedroom and the futons. Absolutely amazing and very authentic Japanese experience, I would definitely recommend staying there and would love to go there again!!! I am repeating myself 😃 but it truly was stunning. The front room is so cozy and there is a massage machine. Location wise you can do Yoshino by walk during a day going up and back and you could even choose the quiet path starting north.
