I liked the city, I should have stayed for more nights. My favorite place was the nearby Lake Nakuru national park and Hyrax hill. My apartment had cooking facilities so my wife prepared meals in doors. Bolt cars (a local online taxi service) gets guests anywhere around the city at a relatively cheap price. On my next visit.

Thz drive around the lake is amazing.
Thz drive around the lake is amazing. You see Rhinos, flami gos pelicans, girafes. If you are lucky you might see the lions. A few places where you can have a picnic and enjoy the view. Just be prepared, can be very dusty and bimpy!

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Waterbuck. The ambience was amazing and the food was great. The staff was also very helpful and made my stay more comfortable than I had expected. The amenities were also top notch.

In comparison to the few we`ve visited, everything is on another level...excellence, more so the staffs, indeed hospitable. Showers, kindly check on them. It didn`t work to us despite the demo done by the staff. The pool water was extremely cold, we love swimming but couldn`t swim for long. If possible, you may work on warming the water slightly.

I went to Lake Nakuru National Park where i visited both the park and the lake. I also visited Hells Gate and Lake Naivasha National Park. We were travelling with my family. I liked Hells Gate the most as there was plenty to see and some hiking and biking to do which was fun. Lake Nakuru National Park was challenging as the exit from the park was not well marked and so we ended up taking an additional time as the main gate was closed.

I love Nakuru and will definitely go back. So many animals and birds you can view close by. Unfortunately the lake shores are polluted with papers, especially in the north closer to town. The roads are a bit narrow, especially with the school buses also driving around.
