The staff was so friendly. They helped us with everything! The tent was so much bigger than expected and very comfortable. The food prepared by the chef is excellent and the bonfire at night was just amazing. We stayed for 4 nights and loved every second of it! The view of the zebra’s and giraffes really close to the camp in the morning was amazing. And we loved the bush walk with Nelson :) Thanks to all of you guys! Nelson, Simon, Felix and everyone else!

This modest camp exceeded our expectations in that the food was great (compliments to Semadep Chef Peter), the price was very affordable, the cabins were adequate for our needs, and the location was beautiful. Sammy, the main camp host, took us on a spectacular sunset walk around the grounds (which included wild African animal sightings!), as well as a half-day hike up to the mesa and lookout point above the camp. Both of these walks were very memorable. I recommend this place if the expensive safari camps are not affordable for you, and you want to be close to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. My friends and I hope to make it back.

The staff was very welcoming, Leonard came to meet us by the main road to guide us to the guesthouse, John took us on a hike to the hill top so we could take in the Maasai Mara scenery. Edwin and Joy prepared dinner, and packed breakfast and lunch for us for the game drive. Beautiful campfire after dinner and the sound of animals in nature made it all worth it. Then the highlight of the trip was the game drive with James.

More than a stay is an experience that you get. I it’s close to the Maasai Mara Reserve and Jacob is more than willing to tell you what activities can be done in the area and even want to accompany you to them. We enjoyed homemade delicious food and even some beers. Thank you again for everything.

The food was absolutely delicious, with each meal perfectly prepared and presented. From hearty breakfasts to exquisite dinners under the stars, the culinary experience rivaled the best we’ve had anywhere. The camp’s environment added a thrilling layer to our adventure. With baboons and hyenas occasionally strolling through the area, it felt like we were genuinely immersed in the wild—exciting, safe, and surreal all at once. The accommodation was both comfortable and authentic, blending rustic charm with all the amenities one could hope for in a luxury safari camp. Super location with tents spaced out between private winding paths on a hill with a view. Dining area with fireplace and washroom. Tents with washroom also. Great dinner was an added bonus. This was super for a group of work colleagues visiting the park.
