I have been to Bishkek numerous times and never tire from it. If one likes bazaars than one can not miss the Osh Bazaar. It has real Central Asian atmosphere and is the best place for souvenirs. There are lots of fresh fruits and dried fruits and nuts as well as great spices. There are great museums and an old fashion amusement park in the center. Bishkek is also the jumping off point for mountaineering and other outdoor adventures.

The whole country is full of natural beauty. You can spend many day during the summer and not get tired. Food and taxis are generally cheap. Go prepared for a hikes. The scenes after a long hike are always worth it! The one disappointment was the lack of proper "toilets' in public places outside the city. Even the stays outside the city may not have a proper toilet (european closet). Food is generally bland in taste and didn't like. But it is of course depending on persons taste. That said, they should try adding a bit more salt!

It's easy and budget friendly..use yandex map, yandex go.. for travel and yandex translator app to communicate from English to Russian and you can travel like a local..the people are tourist friendly and helping nature..
