Its very very very secluded. The host is a lonely young man and he is trying to establish a new an novel business in a beautiful area. The hut is well made. Meals are ordered in from a village.

This is a great place to relax. Clean white sand outside your room and about a 30mtr walk to the shore line. The staff are helpful and very friendly. The water is warm, clean and very safe.

The accommodation is very rustic and has a lovely view out over the water. The location is very secluded and good for those wanting to get away. The seclusion is also a bit of a negative as there are no immediate options other than the Palm Beach restaurant/bar, although their food and staff are quite good.
There is only fans in the suite and no AC which means the humidity is at 90% all the time over the water.

We had such an amazing time at The One Resort. We loved the food, staff were friendly and accomodating and the rooms were clean. We would defintely say that it was the best breakfast in Cambodia that we had. We were able to chose exactly what we wanted and there were plenty of options.
We were the only ones at the resort for one of the days but there was so much to do, so many activites and the staff were so attentive.
We loved playing with the puppy too!!

The islands here are better than in Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia but litter can be found everywhere including on the beach and in the water. The island is scenic but there is nothing particular special about it and its a long journey to get there from the bigger cities. They are chilled and less jet skis than in Thailand and some beaches have very few people on them. The waters are not full of fish or coral even though there are dive companies operating there. Honestly, the Philippines is a far better option for water activities. Cambodia is best for temples, food and culture.

Very beautiful beaches, still pretty wild everywhere.
Very beautiful beaches, still pretty wild everywhere. No much nightlife but perfect to relax and enjoy the beach. Renting a scooter is highly recommended to get the most of the island and explore different places and beaches at your own pace.
We went to Lonely Beach, Coconut Beach and Long Beach and really lovely the 3 of them. We stayed in the fishing village in the North-East, really authentic.

The most interesting and genuine fishing village on the island, Preksway, is well worth a wander around. Some nice beaches (e.g. Pagoda Beach) but unfortunately I was a bit underwhelmed by the visual side of the island. Large areas have been flattened out to build hotels and casinos on for the Chinese tourists, so not very pleasing to the eye. Unfortunately much plastic and other trash lying around build-up areas.

Beautiful island with stunning beaches white sand and clear waters. You had to use the boats to get around as the road infrastructure is not great ! The resort's are a bit shabby, but to be expected, as this is a third world country in many ways. The people are very friendly, and, by and large, the bars and restaurants are reasonable and inexpensive.

If new to Cambodia I will recommend to stay for a couple of days in Siem Reap and then fly to the town nearest Koh Rong for few nights . Otherwise it is very far to drive .

The location was spectacular and on a beautiful quiet beach that is heaven! The thing that sets Anaya apart from the other hotels on Koh Rong are the staff. My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights and the staff could not be more helpful or friendly - particularly Vong on reception who helped us sort everything we needed, including transport to and from the resort, which was a little complicated for us! He was lovely to chat to and really elevated the experience beyond the destination!
You and Me resort is a relatively new resort on Koh Rong island in a very quiet part of the island (Pagoda Beach). The facilities and accommodation were great, the views beautiful and the pool and ocean lovely. It was very quiet when we were there.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - very relaxing and peaceful. Just what we needed.
Big shout out to Pagoda Speed Ferry - they went above and beyond to make sure we made the ferry. Exceptional service and a great way to get to the resort.
Location was very nice, a few minutes walk from the pier, and directly on the beach. Absolutely beautiful. Breakfast also was very good at the beach restaurant of the hotel. My bungalow/apartment was quite big and was comfy enough. The fact that there was a little gym facility, so I could get some kind of workout during my stay.
Mad Monkey is located next door so you could step there if you feel like socializing with young people.
The hotel has the best beach in the island. The staff is polite and helpful. They clean the beach and the hotel's premises all day long. As for the rooms are spacious, very clean, as they are cleaned daily. Both breakfast and dinner were very tasty. The pool was lovely. The WiFi was very good. I also had massage which was good as well. They also arranged to pick us up from the pier. It was a pity we stayed only 5 days.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The activity guide (Sinoun) and the yoga teacher were impressively kind.
The villas are perfect in every detail and the food is great.
To go we did not use the hotel boat service. It was a big mistake. The way back with the resort boat was much more enjoyable
