Located on 0.6 mi of private beach, Kactus offers accommodations on the sunset side of Koh Ta Kiev. Guests can enjoy meals at the in-house restaurant or have a drink at the bar. One of our highlights in Cambodia! We felt really welcome since the beginning. The staff are really friendly and attentive. The bungalow was really spacious and clean. What I would definitely highlight is the food, it was absolutely amazing! Big thank you to all the team, you are doing a great job!!
Set in Krabey Island, Six Senses Krabey Island features fisherman’s house-style accommodations with a private beach area. My wife and I stayed for four night/ five days in this beautiful resort. We booked the villa category "Ocean View Suite" (villa 15). Six Senses Krabey Island lived up to its expectations, even beyond: it exceeded them. As everything was wonderful and the previous comments highlighted the characteristics already, I only focus on some key points (positive and improvement potential): - We appreciated a lot that the General Manager is totally down to earth and supports his team whenever necessary. He rolled up his sleeves and helped to rearrange tables in the restaurant. He was a true leader for his team. Treated everyone with full respect, guests and staff. Wonderful! - all guests were friendly, quiet. - you pay for privacy and you get privacy. - the ice cream bar is just gorgeous! - We did a private kayak tour with Mr. Navy to Koh Ta Kiev which was simply superb. This was one of the most memorable experiences ever. How the team arranged the tour was super great. Navy was a great guide sharing his past experience in and outside of Cambodia, told us many things about the ocean, culture and people. Pricing was totally fair. Thanks again! Would 10000% do it again. - we appreciated the focus on sustainability. Not only talking but doing. No plastic. Water bottles refilled. Towels reusued. Great! - service by Cambodian staff simply amazing. Friendly, great service attitude. - one our second day, I stepped into a "sea urchin" and had some spikes in my toe. Unfortunately, we were not prewarned that there is significant danger to step into them... A more proactive statement would help to avoid the same happens to other guests. Nevermind. The doctor based on the island came to disinfect (great service!!!). - the quality of all materials used around the resort is high class. Chairs, plates, cutlery, napkins, boat from mainland to island, terminal on mainland, car to airport,....

Located on Otres 2 Beach, Ren Resort offers an outdoor pool and a refreshing view of the ocean. This contemporary beachfront resort offers complimentary breakfast on the beach at Ern Restaurant. the pool was amazing, as was the staff. My wife and I stay on the island one night. Then came back to are room spotlessly clean. With fresh flowers floating in the sink and bathtub. the shirts I left on the floor where folded and neatly siting on the bed when we got back. the cleaning staff is grate! the front deck lady's English was very good and she was always helpful.
Jully Anna guest house is located in Sihanoukville, 3.7 mi from Occheuteal Beach. It features an outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi is available throughout the property. We only stayed one night. The property is a bit rundown, but I guess they don’t have as many customers as they used to. The staff was nice and helpful, the pool was perfect. There are a couple of restaurants by the beach, 5 minutes walk at most. Room was clean, ac ok, I don’t have anything to complain except for the awful construction all around, but there is no quiet place anymore in Sihanoukville
Located in Sihanoukville, Mittali Hotel offers beachfront accommodations 1.2 mi from Chum Teav Mao Beach and provides various facilities, such as a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. We arrived by the night so the first impression was : wow, the room and the territory seemed awesome. The room was stylish and super clean, the pool is awesome too. When we woke up in the morning and went for a breakfast we were shocked by the fact that : bar and the restaurant are under complete construction (read: destroyed) so there was no breakfast by the beach, no bar , no room service and nothing like it was written in the hotel description, the most disappointing thing was that nobody informed us about that. The hotel’s beach part was very dirty , and no place to even sit. We went to ask about breakfast, and the receptionist gave us some coupons to another hotel (5-7 mins down the muggy road) to get some meal. It was shock number 2: the hotel didn’t seem nice at all, nor the food did, typical Chinese style breakfast with rice and noodles. We live in China so it was ok for us but it was nothing similar that we expected from the pictures here. And we booked the hotel for 8 nights! Well , after being disappointed for a while, we found out that there’s super nice western restaurant just next door from Mittaly, we ate there all the time and were happy about it, after all we got used to all sorts of inconveniences , we still liked the pool, there were just few more ppl at the hotel so total privacy , still room was awesome and so on. We tried to take everything positive , and it was hard to destroy our holidays BUT we were suffering from the lack of good service, or at least a room service . I believe this place will be nice in couple of months when they finish all the reconstruction and clean the beach, the stuff is so sweet and helpful no matter what, especially the French girl, but still, my best advice before you guys book this hotel: contact the property and ask them if they are done with rebuilding!
Having stayed on the island 12 years ago we were expecting change, but only a few more bungalows and tents have been added. It was sometimes noisy at night until late and as most travellers like to have early nights and early mornings on an island. If we go again it will be to a different camp.
The accommodation was great! The food was the highlight of the trip. The dinners we were served exceeded expectations! The beaches were amazing. We joined yoga and meditation which we really enjoyed. The only negative was the lack of good services from the bar staff. Really not up to standard.
A very special untouched paradise, hoping it will not be ruined with resorts and casinos. Beautiful jungle, beautiful beaches, beautiful sunsets and sunrises. If you want to get away from touristy spots and just be at one with nature, this is the place.
I loved the beach and the surroundings, the white sand, coconut trees... Perfect place! ... except for the sandflies. They give you some headaches, so come prepared with coconut oil. I tried insect repellent but didn't work. It was not bought in Cambodia and did not have DEET, so maybe that could be the reason, I don't know.
Such a beautiful island. I would recommend staying at Seagarden or Ten 103 as the staff were the loveliest people ever and the beaches are better than the Kactus side. We were bullied by the staff at Kactus, so avoid going there at all costs.
It's beautiful and super chill If you love to party, it may not be for you as there isn't much going on, but some of the bars do stay open late and are pretty lively. It's really relaxing and beautiful here, my favorite of the islands in the area. Worth going to see the glowing plankton at night. Eat at kactus, food is outstanding, and the perfect place to watch an incredible sunset.
