Set in Gyeongju, Ramada Hotel and Resort Gyeongju offers a relaxing accommodation for guests to have an unforgettable city experience around the area. The Ramada is a high-class hotel chain that I have always enjoyed staying with. The room was big and luxurious and the location, while quite far from Gyeongju city and difficult to find at first, was right next to the ocean with some pretty beaches and amazing views of both sunrise and sunset. The hassle-free parking was a nice touch and all the amenities provided in the hotel itself were above and beyond what I expected. Overall, I was highly satisfied with my stay and will re-book in the future if I plan to be in the Gyeongju area.
Featuring a sauna, hot spring bath, fitness centre, barbecue facilities and restaurant, The-K Hotel Gyeongju is within a 5-minute drive from Shilla Millennium Park, Skyworld and Gyeongju World. spa center and location. Breakfast buffet is very nice, good selection and reasonably priced. Children eat for free.

Mixed vibe - it’s a historical city but it’s developed so there’s modern convenience everywhere. We loved it. Would really recommend spending a few days here if you can - we only had the one night and it was much too short. Be sure to visit Bulguksa temple as it’s truly marvellous.
You can literally just walk through town and see landmarks and historical sites along the way. Plenty of it is free. Check out the Ancient Observatory (free), Choe neighborhood and nearby bridge (free), Wolji Pond (4000₩, great night view), and do a bus excursion out to the Buddhist temples and grotto in the mountains. Rent hanbok and take photos around the ancient tombs or Hanok-style buildings (even the Starbucks is Hanok-style- like a Korean version of Leavenworth, WA). There’s a veg restaurant at the end of one of the main boutique shops trees (I think it’s name is Veg Meal or some such- falafels etc). I didn’t eat there but it looked tasty. Check out the market for fresh fruits and veg, side dishes, ddeok, etc and a variety of clothing. Make sure to try Gyeongju Bread and Barley Bread- lovers of red bean filling will delight. All in all, Gyeongju is a lovely city with a smaller town feel when compared with Seoul or Busan. A good way to round out the cultural aspect of even a short trip to Korea.
Lovely city - laid back peaceful vibe with lots of lovely countryside to explore, pleasant hikes and lots of historical sites. We’ll set up for tourists with restaurants, cafes and shops but without being over the top. Quite expensive in the main tourist area but if you head into the main downtown area food gets more traditional and reasonably priced.
Gyeongju is reminiscent of ancient of Ancient Korea. Any ancient history lover will surely delight in the numerous historic landmarks. You can also do a short hike in the Wolsung Hill or Gyerim forest. Lots of eateries.
Wolji Pond at night was amazing -- Tumuli Tombs Park -- Bulgugksa Temple is beautiful. Go during the Cherry Blossom season and walk the streets lined with trees. I love how Gyeongju has preserved many buildings and that there is zoning so there are no large apartments in view. It's a well organized and lovely place to spend a few days.
Gyeongju is nice with lots of cherry blossoms during the season. There are many tourist attractions and nature trails. However, most of the restaurants and cafes don't have English menu and the staff can't speak English. It will be helpful to the tourists if they have English menu or pictures of the food in the menu.

Right next to the tombs! The owner speaks only a little English, but he was very accommodating. He upgraded us to a room with a view for free! He also gave us maps and told us where to find foreign food, Korean food, the bus stops, and all sorts of useful information. There were coffee machines and other functional food facilities. The bathroom and shower was clean and functional, although the hot water did not always last very long. The room was warm in February, the WiFi worked well, and it was overall a comfortable experience.

Our room was really nice and clean. We even had a second room with a whole kitchen just for us. It was just around the corner of some of Gyeongjus main attractions, located in the peaceful old part of town. But what made our stay truly special was the host: She prepared a different breakfast (French, Korean, ...) everyday at 8:30 to invite all her guests into her tea room. She offered my girlfriend to try a traditional Korean dress and was the kindest lady you could imagine. Thanks for the great time we‘ve had at Namuae!

You have to live this experience when you visit South Korea. Sleep in Hanok is a nice adventure for european people and Nadul Hanok is the best option. It was clean, the staff is really friendly and the best is that they take the breakfast to your hanok. Breakfast is really good! Fruit, coffee, boiled eggs and typical Korean biscuits. I loved it. Kind regards from Spain :-)

We felt really welcome in the hanok. The owner was really nice and friendly. We can only thank her for all her good information and mostly for the full breakfast (Korean & American style) she made us ! The hanok is close to all historical sites in Gyeongju. It was very practical.
