Lots to do in George Town, very busy. If you want to relax and less people, then go to the other side of the island. Beaches are nice too...seven miles has become more like 3 mile now because the beaches are disappearing..

If you like drinking & eating well this is a great spot. If you like having your pants pulled down every time the bill comes out this is also the spot. This place makes Dubai look cheap.
Not a lot to see in George Town & I did try my best find something to settle my thirst for adventure but failed.
I did visit the Cayman museum but my sheds bigger !

Georgetown isn't really the place to go to while in the Cayman's unless you're looking to mingle with the thousands of cruise ship tourists.
However, If snorkeling is your cup of tea, Georgetown does have a great spot just a short swim away from the shore. Edens rock and Devils grotto are some great places if you want to spend time in the water.

There was so much to do if you wanted, we used red sail excursion co.- very friendly and they really care about the sea animals, very knowledgeable. You can also just relax on the beach. Shopping and food were great. We especially enjoyed Coconut Joe’s, chicken chicken and Craft. There is a high sales tax and service fees charged so be prepared for the expense! A simply beautiful place to visit otherwise! We can’t wait to go back.

I'm not much of a 'city' person - I preferred all the island had to offer outside of town. We did have a nice meal there at Sharkese (sp?) and my girlfriend who likes to shop enjoyed the stores.
My favorite activity of all was a visit to Rum Point along with the amazing experience of swimming with Stingrays!!

though food and drinks can be expensive !!!
though food and drinks can be expensive !!!you can go here on a Budget and enjoy this MOST Beautiful place and eat in make sandwiches and go out for dinner and find the best deals by just talking to the friendly people, we Love Kirk supermarket and Fosters just opened so you have either choose from, public buses are reasonable but we rented a vehicle which is not for everyone as your drive on the Left hand side of the road with the steering wheel on the Right ( you do get used to it)
nothing went well. cayman airways failed to advise that the passenger would be required to stay in grand cayman for 7 days rather than the overnight stay as the psgr was booked for. This was a most disgusting trick used by the airline and the government of Caymans. I will be forced to advise any psgr to avoid the Cayman islands. I advised the hotel of the situation, but the hotel does not give refunds, and cancellation is the full amount of the stay. That was a clever way to steal from persons arriving in the Caymans.
Everything was spectacular! Nothing like staying at a place where you can go back to your room and rest from a long day out. The staff was INCREDIBLE! Top notch service. From the front desk staff (Shanti et al), to the shuttle van drivers (Roque 5+ stars to him and everyone else), to the kitchen staff, to Dana our housekeeper and the rest of their team! You have got to stay here! Look no further. You feel like you're at a 5 star hotel!
I liked the atmosphere, but there wasn't any form of first aid kit or anything, also there wasn't any beach towels inside there, I am have been into tourism for years, I also have a cleaning company, I have ladies that clean hotels and condos, we go all out to make guests happy, I was surprised to find out that a an establishment as holiday Inn didn't have certain facilities.
The location of this apartment was excellent. Close enough to walk into George Town and over to Camana Bay as well. There is a pool, with bar, hot tub and the amazing beach with it's perfect cove. The apartment had everything we needed from snorkle gear to oven gloves! We stayed for a month and it was like home from home. Absolutely loved it.
Incredible location right on the beach - staff went out of their way to make our daughter's first birthday one to remember. The staff are so attentive and the hotel had lots of little personal touches and additions. Loved this place, can't say enough good things about it. Amazing food and drinks, cocktail hour...the list goes on.
The beach front view was amazing!!! The pool area is great. Overall it is paradise and a great hotel to stay at on the island. the staff was very courteous and helped with everything down to the smallest requests. Also the suite had a fridge, washing machine and dryer which was great.
A real find , spacious , clean and very close to George Town and 7 mile beach. Supermarket and a range of restaurants were close at hand . The communication before we arrived was impressive and we were well looked after by Ruby . Plenty of privacy but Ruby was on hand if needed.
It was a great value for what we needed. We came for the Cayman Island Basketball Tournament and this is one of the closest places on Seven mile Beach to George Town where the games were played. But as it is on Seven Mile Beach, dive and other tour companies pick you up.
As the resort is not on the sea front it was fantastic to be able to use the Westin Hotel and resort all day/eve, which really does have the best (private) beach and entertainment. The staff were very friendly and the grounds landscaped beautifully.
The hotel was updated very nicely. The rooms were well equipped with modern furniture and the water pressure was great. Daily hot breakfast was also very good. Everyone there was very pleasant and accommodating.
The hotel is in a beautiful location with many great amenities and great restaurants. The room was a good size and well stocked with everything that you may need when you were there.
