I’m so grateful to have discovered this gorgeous resort, not only is the view breathtaking, but the story of the place is equally important! The owner build it from scratch with the intention of helping employ as many people from the village as possible. Nearly from every angle of the resort you can enjoy an incredible view, the staff is dedicated, very caring and friendly! They quickly resolve any need you might have ! This is Lao owned place and it contributes to an organization that helps provide with toilets and school supplies for people of the village, I highly recommend their tours and part of the profits of these tours go to the this organization. The entire intention of the space is one of care for the people and its employees. The architecture was done with so much care and the rooms have amazing views of the Mekong and mountains. Nice showers and spacious decor. I highly recommend you staying here and taking one of the tours! You can see elephants across the river often and many buffalo on the way to the resort!

Remember Shangri-La, that fictional place where it was like heaven on earth? That's what it felt like. Please please stay here if you can. We're pretty bummed we only stayed one night. We booked this place for our one-night lodging in between the two-day slow boat ride on the Mekong from Luang Prabang to Huay Xai (which is highly recommended, btw). The pictures were pretty good, but man, the actual place was even more breathtaking. The view of the Mekong was out of this world. We were so taken that the first 10 minutes we got to our room all we did was stare at the view and pleasant-curse at how insanely beautiful everything was. This place was built and designed by some very very thoughtful architects and designers. The room was nearly all teak, making it warm and cool at the same time. Beds were comfy. And the layout was very cool. Staff was super attentive and gracious even though we were the only ones there (COVID really depleted number of visitors). We didn't want to make them cook dinner just for us so we went into town for food (it was a wonderful short walk with the starry night sky above us). The breakfast the next morning was very delicious. They even cooked us some fried rice and noodles to take on our boat ride from Pak Beng to Huay Xai. We want to come back. If you're looking for a quiet refuge to just escape it all or finally work on that writing project or whatnot, choose this place.

We loved it! The owner was super friendly and accomodating. The accomodation itself super spacious, comfortable, clean and with a beautiful balcony overlooking Mekong. Breakfast was included - simple style, but to be fair: the price was unbeatable for such a accomodation! Yes, it's a bit noisy from the street, but this is South East Asia and not the accomodations fault. We had a wonderful relaxing stay!

One of the closest guesthouses to speedboat. Quick check in after long day on boat. Owner made sandwich next day for slow boat Owns bakery opposite, went in and had breakfast to support local businesses. Room had everything I needed for one night. Good value. Quiet.

Comfortable stay over night. Lovely big room, comfy bed and a warm shower especially after being on the slow boat all day. Provided us with dinner, breakfast, snacks and a takeaway lunch for the following day (all at an extra charge) they also had a tuk tuk waiting for us at the pier which was great! Staff and people that run the place are really nice and very helpful! The views of the sunset on the river were insane! Would definitely stay here again.
