FAQs about hotels in Beirut

Cosmopolitan City with Fantastic Atmosphere

Once called a “Paris of the Middle East,” Beirut is the Lebanese capital along the Mediterranean, flanked by the Lebanese Mountains. Severely destroyed during the Civil War, the city underwent major reconstruction and is now a vibrant place full of nightlife and shopping venues.

Beirut is often considered by many major media outlets to be one of the top cities in the world due to its cosmopolitan nature and commercial development. See it for yourself on Rue Verdun, the trendiest shopping area or the Central District, the city’s historical core, full of modern structures, dining venues and open public spaces.

Stroll down the tourists’ favorite, Hamra Street, featuring plenty of boutique shops, popular cafés and restaurants. Beirut is sometimes called the “Party Capital of the Arab World” so while you’re at it, dance the night off at the clubs at Rue Monnot.

For a bit of history mixed with upbeat nightlife, pay a visit to Achrafieh, one of the city’s oldest and most charming districts. Since Beirut has over 5,000 years of history, a visit to its National Museum and Archaeological Museum is a real treat.

Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport is only a 10-minute drive from the city center and Booking.com has a variety of hotels and apartments in Achrafieh and Hamra for your perfect Beirut stay.

I’ve been in Beirut for 6 weeks!

I’ve been in Beirut for 6 weeks! Don’t stay for long in Hamra or at Corniche. Get a hotel for a few nights just for the beach or pools and the view. But go and stay at the area Gemmayze or Ashrafieh. Hamra is just dirty and touristic!

My Beirut is slowly recovering, and this trip felt so much better than when we visited two years ago. The country feels more stable, and you can sense a beautiful energy of resilience and hope in the air. The Lebanese people, as always, remain incredibly warm, welcoming, and excited to work, carrying their unmatched hospitality with pride. The bars, restaurants, and food are still on another level .. truly better than anywhere else in the world. In every corner, you feel the culture, the heritage, and the heartbeat of a city that refuses to lose its magic.

Beirut if you like night life is incredible I personally don't, what I did like was just about everyone that works in the industry speaks a bit of English and im a combat veteran so its different, possibly a shocker to someone who's never seen shelled buildings or the visceral side of reality, because on the television there its not like the propaganda from the west. its real facts of the matter how America and Israel are genocidic criminals

The absolute best hotel . I traveled alone & they helped me with all my tours/transportation at good prices and always made sure i was okay . I enjoyed my stay in beirut all thanks to them . The hotel is very close to a lot of restaurants and supermarkets. The guys at the reception are so lovely & always ready to help. Also the rooms are even more beautiful than the pictures. Thank you hotel cavalier 💕 I will recommend everyone to stay here .

Regarding all what is happening in beirut and how prices differs from one hotel to another, they have maintained the best price with the same great services, the staff where very helpful and polite, cleaning was daily and great, amenities where available, near Hamra and Rawcheh, even they provided laundry and transportation services and i liked that they provide tours to everywhere in lebanon with private cars and affordable prices.
