Sandals Halcyon Beach All Inclusive - Couples Only has a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Vigie. With free WiFi, this 5-star resort offers water sports facilities and room service. Everything about our stay was excellent. The staff made a real effort to make the stay as easy as possible. The beach was beautiful and the pool area was great. Good range of food options, including for vegetarians. The room was lovely with a fantastic bath on the balcony. Hard to find any faults at all. We were travelling with my wife’s parents and It suited all of us. Nice and peaceful but with plenty of water sports and activities to get involved with. We loved it.
Located in Castries in the Castries Region, 50 km from Le Diamant, Casa del Vega a Little Peace of Heaven boasts a sun terrace and views of the sea. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. The staff is very accomodating. The location is perfect and the appartements are just stunning. The value for money is the best Iv seen in 5 years. This place is officially my go to whenever Im back in St lucia from now on.
Aanola Villas offers fully equipped apartments located in Castries, just metres from the Caribbean Sea. They include fully equipped kitchens and free Wi-Fi. Great find we lucked out at really good prices, spacious, clean. quiet, great staff. We will definately stay again when back in St Lucia
Place is clean, good location, with very good care taker called Ginie! Sharing bathroom wasn't my cup of tea, don't how I ended up here. Elderly people ensure to book room on ground floor as no lift only stairs (not many but)
Loved the beaches, especially Pigeon island, park and local la jambe de bois restaurant, for convenience one of the Vigie beach restaurants in front of the local airport (Booth #2) served very good fresh fish, chicken meals very reasonably priced. We especially appreciated the wonderful St. Lucian people who are so caring throughout our month stay. The highlight of our trip was our every sunday visit to the childrens 10:30 mass at the Castries Catholic cathedral where everyone sang backed up by a very lively and moving reggae beat band, with the priest personal connection to all the children very moving and meaningful. Everyone, religious or not, would appreciate this very uplifting experience! We also enjoyed the friday night Le Gros Islet street party, great music, dancing and fresh fish and seafood - a must thing to attend as well. Local restaurants tend to overcook everything, fish, chicken and meat. Driving around St. Lucia, generally OK even with all the twists and turns especially down to the La souffriere, but after a month it was getting abit tiring.
Very close to the capital and very picturesque, Vigie is a great place to stay if you want to be near enough to St Lucia's beaches, towns and bars, but far enough to allow for your own sense of privacy. It really feels like a get-away.
The staff is superb and the views are fantastic. I opted to rent a car so I could explore the island and a parking spot was provided. On the map it seems close to the airport but never once heard a plane. Nearby you will find Brown Sugar which serves dinner nightly and is definitely worth the short trip. I would definitely stay here again, it can't be beat.
The staff was extra friendly, the rooms were kept very clean and the grounds were nicely maintained. There was constant cleaning of the pool, yards and rooms at all times, but never at an inconvenience. I was disappointed by the fact that Kelly's Dockside Restaurant was closed due to reconstruction. We chose this property in St. Lucia because of this restaurant and its excellent reputation. The menu was offered; however, we missed the experience. It would have been nice to have been informed that this dining experience was not available at the time of booking (or even correspondence via email at a later date). We only booked about 7 weeks in advance, so I feel like we should have been informed. The included activities were nice and convenient. The extra excursions were fun; we especially enjoyed Zip-lining and the Joe Knows tour. Shopping locally at the market was a new experience and one that we enjoyed. The Resort has a nice gift shop as well.
No TV in the rooms, no phone at night. the door of ' entered is closed you are given the code to return se n ' is not a well specified hotel that ' he sagge of the guest a houst lost from nowhere I say good for this period
I loved everything. The staff, the food, the room and location on the resort was awesome. they are organized and extremely helpful. They made our stay very comfortable and relaxing.
