I returned to Park Hotel Sonnenhof just two weeks after my first stay — this time with my wife and son, after visiting earlier with my parents. The staff was amazing - very kind and attentive. We asked if possible to have breakfast 15min earlier as we needed to leave by 730 and they accommodated our request. Food was also delicious at dinner.

Lovely and ideal little village.

Lovely and ideal little village. The village center with the monastery, church and the grocery are beautiful and idyllic. The village itself does not have much to offer but the trip to Vaduz is only some 15 minutes by car, over quality although hilly roads, so it is quite pleasant and effortless. Most sightseeing and eating opportunities in Liechtenstein are in Vaduz - Schellenberg does not have much to offer to be frank. Hiking options are available though. Mountainous parts near Triesenberg and Malbun are a bit further away.

The village is very well-maintained and situated on a hill...

The village is very well-maintained and situated on a hill with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. There are excellent bus connections to other towns. It has a few restaurants, though they are some walking distance away.
