The staff is very friendly. The parking garage was a little hard to find but extremely convenient as it took you right to the door to get the elevator to check in. No getting wet if it's raining. I left some things in the safe by mistake, and they were quick to retrieve them and hold them for us safely. We were able to open the room's window, so the temperature was nice as we slept. Oh, the shower in our room was really cool! There is an opaque glass between the shower and the room. It's nice for couples!

Excellent location, walking distance from everything in Vaduz, but there was also a bus stop 3 minutes away. Spacious,clean room with a balcony with views to the castle. Very comfortable bed. I'm happy to have had breakfast included in the price, and it was a well varied and filling breakfast buffet. The staff was very helpful at all times.

The apartment is super nice, clean and complete: a comfortable room, living room with TV, kitchen, dining room, terrace with an amazing view, toilet, shower, Wi-Fi. It is located near a bus stop and a LIEBike rack, and by a walking distance you could go to Schaan or Vaduz. The Host is super kind, polite, friendly and helpful. She responds super fast, she helped me plan what to do and how to get where I wanted. My stay could not have been better. It was perfect.

We stayed in Vaduz at the end of October, a beautiful time with lively Fall scenery. Getting around Vaduz can easily be done on foot. Public transport is excellent. The Coop in the village, a 5 minute walk, was very well stocked and contained everything you would need for a short stay. Excellent shopping facilities in the vicinity. Great place for evening walks with the sun setting behind the mountains.

Vaduz - and by extension, Liechtenstein - is a little-known...

Vaduz - and by extension, Liechtenstein - is a little-known destination, not often visited by European tourists (aside from nearby Swiss and Germans, and some Americans). The capital can easily be explored in half a day. The city itself isn’t particularly charming; you can tell it’s a prosperous place, driven by banks and the country’s attractive tax environment for setting up companies. The Prince’s Castle isn’t open to visitors, but you can walk up and see it from the outside. It offers a nice view over Vaduz and the Rhine Valley. Prices are quite high (Switzerland is just next door), and the local cuisine doesn’t really feature distinctive specialties - it’s mostly local twists on Swiss, German, or Austrian dishes. The principality doesn’t have spectacular sights, but it’s worth a short visit just to see it once in your life - for example, to spot the distinctive black license plates marked “FL” for Fürstentum Liechtenstein (Principality of Liechtenstein in German) - though it’s not really a place where you’d want to linger for long.

A pleasant town with some very agreeable corners such as Mitteldorf and the Princely Wine Estate. Excellent National Museum although the Art Museum is a disappointment as it contains virtually none of the wonderful paintings owned by the Prince, which surely could be shared between the Liechtenstein Museum in Vienna and the Kunstmuseum in Vaduz. It's easy to get around at the Liechtenstein Card is fantastic value, getting you in free to all sorts of places, including the winery. Remember though that few restaurants are open on a Sunday evening.

Small towns. There isn't much to see.

Small towns. There isn't much to see. We explored the town center in an hour. A lovely path leads up to the castle, where there's an information panel about the history of Liechtenstein, etc. Plenty of cafes to relax in.

Vaduz offers several museums, is a good starting point for further excursions, and almost all destinations (e.g., starting points for mountain hikes or trips to Switzerland or Austria) are easily accessible by bus. Restaurants are not cheap, but offer very good quality (Gasthof Au is recommended).

There is not much to discover in Vaduz.

There is not much to discover in Vaduz. There is the Prince's Castle (only from the outside), the old Red House in the old center, a wooden pedestrian bridge, two museums and St. Florin's Cathedral. Everything can be done in half a day. Accommodation and restaurants are very expensive. Prices are about double and in Swiss francs.

Right in the centre of Vaduz with views of the castle. Our room was a good size & we liked the bathrobes & comfy bed. The bathroom was nice. Breakfast was good - we're vegetarian & there were still options for us including cereal, yoghurts, fruit, eggs and bread. Free car parking is appreciated.

Huge room with good view of the castle. Also, Gina & Alex were the best host ever. Super responsive and helpful. We commented that the kettle had stains, and they went out of their way to buy 2 new kettles the next day. Super thankful, thank you! :)
