Besides doing the incredibly beautiful hike to Adams Peak, you can hire a tuktuk driver to guide you to Morey's Waterfall. the best waterfall we got to hike to in Sri lanka, challenging 1 hour hike but you'll get to stroll thru lush tea plantations and walk along side Lake Morey.

Do not climb on Saturdays as you will most probably not be able to reach the top. It was over-crowded and the path is narrow the last 500 meters. Got stuck in one spot for 45 minutes and decided to turn around. Still got amazing views though and the experience of local pilgrimage which was a privilege!

At the top of Adam's Peak it is quite cold and windy, you will be walking up and sweating. In order not to freeze at the top while you wait for dawn, I advise you to take extra dry clothes to change at the top (there is a toilet there), a windbreaker and a thermos with hot water. And don't forget the sunscreen, as soon as the sun comes out it won't spare you. This is an amazing place call mountain Malaya, where Guru Rinpoche gave Tantric Teachings in the Tibetan tradition for the first time on earth. And also the place of Dakinis. Glad that you will be there. Make a wish for the benefit of all sentient beings(you are one of them ;)) ! :)

There is a lake and Tea Gardens nearby.
There is a lake and Tea Gardens nearby. However you cannot visit either of them. You can only drive around and take in the views.
What is quite nice is to climb up the Adams' Peak. The climb is good for those who like climbing and hiking.

Very welcoming hosts who served me some coffee and a snack when I arrived earlier than I was supposed to. They also did my laundry without any additional cost. I was supposed to stay over with a friend but he didn't come and they offered me a price for one person. When I informed them that the WiFi didn't work they fixed it in a minute which was particularly important for me as I needed to work. The breakfast was enormous and very tasty - best breakfast I had in Sri Lanka. I had a wonderful stay!

Just nearby an entrance to the Adam’s peak trail ( easy to get in at night and the shortest distance to come back after enormous efforts climbing and descending)
the hotel is just above the main road with a spectacular view on tea gardens by surrounding hills . you can take your time siping tea and viewing that for hours
Staff is really helpful and gave us advises on timing , ways and etc to climb up and find the Moray Waterfall around .
Breakfast was also very good .

We were not able to climb to Adam's Peak at our first time there due to heavy rain so when we backed to Sri Lanka we definitely knew where to stay next time at Adam's Peak. Owners of the hotel are very nice and friendly ppl. They tried to do their best we were satisfied with our stay. Breakfast was big and tasty. Room is also big and comfy. I like that owners organize walking trips around the area for tourists better to know what else is around Adam's Peak.

Unfortunately, we were not able to stay at this property due to a hosts’ unexpected event.
We would like to have been informed a little earlier, but understand that it may have not been possible. Nonetheless, the host’s family arranged a night for us in a nearby hotel and everything went okay.
You can walk from the accommodation to the start of Adams Peak/Sri Pada trail.

It‘s the perfect hotel to do a trip to the adam‘s peak. It‘s very near (about 100 meters) to the start of the way to the stairs up to a beautuful sunrise.
The room was very clean with a beautiful little balcony with some privacy. the bed was super comfortable.
