One of the nicest hostels I have ever stayed in. Is perfect if you're looking to stay in a chilled out hostel where everyone is mindful of each other, quiet and considerate. Sam, the owner, is such an awesome guy and will help you out with anything you need. This would be one of the only hostels really giving back to the community around it, and trying to do things here in Sri Lanka the 'right' way. Hope to be back here in the future!

Everything at the Villa was 10/10!! Sunith and Januka took such great care of us and made sure that everything we needed was taken care of. The breakfasts were great and the general level of service was incredible! We were also able to rent a motorbike at a good price and get a Tuk Tuk service from the train Station and a taxi up to Negambo through the hotel, making everything very easy!! We will definitely return on our next trip to Sri Lanka and can 100% recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area.

What a wonderful property in the South of Sri Lanka. Fortunately enough we met the owners who truly were excellent hosts. All the team member are so very attentive, professional and polite. Wonderful sourrounding to relax and enjoy the nature. The food was very well presented and taste delicious. Nice selection of drinks and wine. The place for a few nights in true tranquility and bliss. Highly recommended. Go and try it yourself!

The decor was beautiful, the staff were very friendly, the location was quiet and peaceful without being remote, and everything was very clean. The included breakfast was also extremely generous (cakes, omelette, juice, coffee, hoppers, all served at once like a big spread).

Uyana is an amazing hotel, it exceeded our expectations. The location is close but secluded at the same time. The pool was wonderful and the room was so spacious and super comfortable with the perfect view. Everyone on the team was so kind but I must say Janaka is the best hotel manager anyone could find. He was extremely helpful and very accomodating. I highly recommend Uyana!

    The place where u can easily swim which is not always easy in Srilanka. Here the ocean is calm. Balcony view is wow. Swimming pool is very clean. Food also very nice. Hotel is helping in everything. I tried 5 different hotels in SriLanka and this was the best for me. Here u can swim, tan, enjoy the ocean view from the private beach and from our panoramic suite. So relaxing. They clean the rooms every day and provide with everything you need.

    Fantastic hospitality from Aslam and his team, beautiful tropical garden, massive pool, loads of thoughtful touches. the rooms were very spacious and comfortable, fantastic indoor/ outdoor bathroom. it was a minute walk to the sea and the area had great restaurants and bars nearby. the breakfast was very high quality. we would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone wanting a relaxed stay.

    We've had a very good stay at Ohana Surf House. Rooms are clean, spacious, with an silence air conditioner... Swimming pool is Great, and there is a little outdoor shower we enjoyed when we were back from the beach. The rooftop is amazing and offers a great view, allowing to see the line up. I have to say Paula is a great host, very welcoming. And for some reason, we couldn't arrive the day we booked at the hotel. She arranged us to change our booking at the last moment. We are very grateful of that.
