Whisky point is such a special place and I am so glad that I stayed here. The resort itself is beautiful and the perfect place to escape and disconnect. The staff are all amazing and very welcoming. As a solo female traveller I felt very at home and could have stayed much longer. The food is also delicious, from pasta to pizza and homemade banana bread! The first couple of days I was working remotely and I found it very comfortable with good wifi. After that I spent most of my time relaxing on the beach and enjoying the peaceful tranquility and good vibes. I 100% recommend.

The best part about this place is Mohammed, he made sure we were always comfortable, he always had delicious snacks for us. The room was really comfortable, with AC and a fan. Just next to the beach, and a really good surf school. Would recommend.

Absolutely stunning, private, peaceful and relaxing. Our whole stay at Blue Water was perfect, the cabanas are cute, clean and spacious for couples. We couldn’t fault anything. We stayed for my 40th birthday and the team decorated our room, what a lovely surprise on entry. Although there is no air conditioning, the fans in the room are sufficient and the cabanas are designed well with openings for a breeze. Rinos is amazing, he was so attentive and looked after all of our needs. He’s really friendly, a pleasure to meet and an excellent chef. Sudha and Dinosan are both phenomenal, they make sure the whole area around the cabanas are pristine, they take so much pride and leave patterns in the sand for guests. There is a good variety of food, the fresh juices are so tasty. We had breakfast and dinner most days and Rinos catered for our tastes. The beach is private and only a few steps away, most days we were the only ones there, it is paradise. At night we fell asleep to the sound of the waves. Thank you Blue Water you made our stay unforgettable.

We are a family of 4 with kids of 8 and 9 yo We almost cancelled our time in arugam bay… everyone was saying the weather would nt be good this time of year etc. we are glad we listen to the owners of the hotel and decided to stick to our plan! The place is awsome. The rooms we so nice. With everything you need. The swimming pool is really good too Just steps away from a private beach where we were the only ones. The restaurant serves delicious food and the staff was really good. The owners helped us with safari tours in the near by park and some surf lessons and rentals The yoga class was also really nice We had amaizing weather. And a even better time! Met some great peopler there and we were sad to leave!

The property is beautiful, I love that the rooms have their own gardens. The pool is nice, staff is very attentive and friendly, and there’s some nice cats around. Breakfast is good and very reasonably priced.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. There’s a kitchen with a fridge and cooking facilities, which was great! It’s in a great location, close enough to the beach and restaurants, but far enough from the busy main strip if you want some quiet time. The staff also cooked me the best food on request! Even better than what I had at any restaurant!

    You are more likely to meet a European than a local here. This is definately not a reflection on Sri Lankan culture, however the beach town is slow and quiet (realtively speaking) and there are plenty of shops and restaurants. And of coure, the surf is consistent and the water warm. It's a winner for a beach holiday.

    The best feature of Arugam Bay is the surrounding jungle, lakes and lagoons. The main beach is very busy but other beaches, such as Peanut Farm are less crowded, Do thye Lagoon Safari and a park safari but also try surfing and relaxing on the beach.

    still relatively not crowded by the locals due to the distance, and miles of unspoiled, beautiful, isolated beaches to be found. Surfers paradise, but the seas can be a bit rough for the average sea goer. accommodation can be a bit overpriced during season but you can find some reasonable accommodation if you search and ask around.

    Best And Best Place + ❤️Hidden Gem in Arugum Bay!❤️Location is perfect to everything you need (restaurants, beaches, convenience stores). Property nestled well within nature with a Huge tree keeping the property cool in the afternoons, a hangout area and a fully equipped kitchen at your disposal. Marina Way staff are the friendliest I've met in Arugumbay and work hard everyday to make sure the property is always looking neat and clean! Thank you to Ameen and his great team for being so accommodating!

    We had an amazing stay at Lucky Bay ! The hotel consists of several bungalows almost directly next to the sea. The Bungalows are surrounded by a beautiful garden. The highlight however was the host Mohammed, who was very friendly and very supportive in organising everything we wanted to do in Arugam Bay. Can only recommend staying here !

    It was the perfect base for our visit to Arugam Bay. The rooms are clean, spacious and with a great outdoor terrace. The beach is at the end of the street so you can wake up and jump right in the ocean. The owners of the hotel were lovely as well, and were happy to help with anything. Highly recommend.

    It’s was a very nice hotel that included amazing breakfast. The owner was kind and helpful and the rest of the staff as well. The hotel is located in the calmer side of Arugam Bay which was great for a good night sleep. :) We stayed in a double bed bedroom which had everything we needed.

    Super nice place with good location in Arugam Bay. It is like a quiet garden in the middle of a busy street. Very relaxed atmosphere. Staff is very nice and the hotel offers some of the best food in Arugam Bay. We rented room with no AC - but the fans did the job. Nice outdoor shower.
