I spent a night at Villa Rumassala, and it was a truly transformative experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt how much care and intention goes into creating a space that allows deep rest. The atmosphere is calm, grounding, and thoughtfully designed, with incredible attention to detail that supports relaxation on every level. The staff are simply amazing — always smiling, kind, and genuinely thoughtful. You can feel that they put their hearts into everything they do, every single day. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and nourishing, I felt completely comfortable and cared for from the moment I arrived. A huge thank you to everyone who made this experience so special. I’m leaving with a calm mind, a happy heart, and deep gratitude.

Taavetti is a small boutique style hotel but is actually newly refurbished in execllent quality. The place is very clean amd tidy and the room was excellent. Its quiet and the staff are excellent neat and well mannered. We were received in an excellent way especially after a 2 hour drive from colombo. We were offered fresh juice and a cool towel while checking in. Checking was straight forward and easy. The hotel has its own access to a beach and restairant. We mainly had breakfast there. Its a set menu breakfast that gives u a choice of english french and asian breakfasts. The location of the hotel is not where all the 5* hotels are but beaches are beautiful in most places and Taavetti has a nice stretch of beach with seating and umbrellas

The location is fantastic everything is so convenient. The beach is just a short walk away, and you can easily explore the surrounding area without needing transport. Restaurants, cafes, and shops are all nearby. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, and well maintained, with enough space to relax properly. The balconies add a lovely touch, making the stay even more enjoyable. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. They also provide parking, which is very convenient. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Unawatuna great comfort, excellent location, and good value for money🌊☀️

A very personal family driven small hotel with high service and care for the guests, both the owners and the manager Seneth. The breakfast was excellent with a various off dishes and the room large and well designed. The bathroom contains a Jacuzzi. The distance to Unawatuna beach is a 20 min walk and the Jungle beach can be reached with a Tuk Tuk within 15 min.
