I had the pleasure of spending two nights at Oasis homestay located in Gelioya close to University of Peradeniya. The host Hashitha was incredibly welcoming and always ready to help. This homestay is a newly built with all the modern equipments. The rooms, bathrooms and the kitchen were well maintained and spotless. The surrounding is very peaceful with lots of greenery. I would recommend anyone who visits Kandy to find this home stay for a wonderful experience away from home.

Great location for access to Ambuluwawa Tower which Kumudu arranged us a tuk tuk for. He takes great pride in his home and yard and it shows. He also has a love for birds which he feeds in his backyard. Great cook and conversationalist. Fun guy to chat with.

A super beautiful property with a flower garden, spring fed pool, abundant fruit and spice trees and a big yard. The rooms were super comfy and quiet and the food was the most delicious food we had in Sri Lanka! The Caretaker Ratne was an absolute gem! He helped us with anything we needed and even gave us some Sinhalese language lessons. We had the best time spending time with him, learning Carrom and playing badminton. It was truly one of our favorite homestays. We felt like family and we were sad to leave.
