Very nice accommodation near Ambuluwawa Tower, connection with bus to Gampola is pretty easy. Food was good and the hosts are very nice. I would definitely come back.

Such a comfy, peaceful room run by the the nicest family who goes out of their way to make you comfortable. I especially like the bed, garden like entry to the room and circular fan that kept us cool. The breakfasts were especially jaw dropping with many Sri Lankan specialities and tea.

The owner were very helpfull, they picked us from the busstation for free. It's possible to get tasty local food (breakfast, lunch & dinner). It's possible to fly the drone from the rooftop or doing Yoga. We would recommend the homestay.

Gampola is an old village and hour from Kandy. It's very beautiful but not overly touristic. It's worth exploring for a day and visiting the amabuluwawa tower if you have the guts to walk to the top and take a photo!!
