This was one of the absolutely best finds on Nilaweli stretch. The rooms were huge and spotlessly clean. The meals, especially the local food, were amazing. And all the staff were helpful, warm and always there to make our stay more comfortable.

The hotel overall was very nice and the staff and specially the manager Eric were very courteous. Breakfast was simple but good, ask for the scrambled eggs on toast - really good.

Despite the non stopping rain for days and days, our stay in Amanta Beach was just perfect. Everything is as shown on the photos and written in the description and actually there is much more. Slightly out of the village, just right on the private beach, with a huge garden and a cute swimming pool, you will be offered very tasty breakfasts and dinners.. The rooms and the private gardens have everything you may need. And those stylish decorations! I need to mention also the very lovely staff who make you feel very welcome and still manage to give you the privacy you want in such a place. It is not the cheapest, but absolutely worth the value.

This place has two big advantages – it’s brand new and the location is close to the beach. It was the cleanest place we stayed in Sri Lanka. It is more an apartment than a hotel, which is totally fine. The staff were warm and helpful, though their English was limited. I see a few things that could be improved, like having a nice outdoor seating area. Overall, it was a really nice stay.
