Very nice place, friendly host, great accommodations! Good location, and very comfortable beds. We really enyojed our stay at this place! There is a beautiful "Moon plain Inn", the owners are really friendly and the prices are very cheap. We also had a awesome dinner and breakfast together, just perfect! I would highly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Nuwara Eliya. Probably the best place we stayed at during our time in Sri Lanka! THANK YOU SO MUCH! See you next year :-)

First hotel location was so perfect. View from the hotel was just Masha Allah!! The place was very very cold, but hotel staffs provided us extra blankets, hot tea and fire even. They always make sure we want anything else or not. Staffs were so friendly and good. Also, room was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely choose this hotel again and again over any other in Nuwara Eliya. And also would suggest everyone to choose this place. Totally worth it!!! ❤️😍

We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel and it was amazing. Good room with perfect view from the balcony. The restaurant is nice with poolside tables. And the food was delicious. The staff in the restaurant and the hotel in general are very friendly and smiling. They managed to make my vacation in Nuwara Eliya and our anniversary unforgettable. They kept a small gift in our room all the time (fruits, a flower, biscuits..). Thank you and hope to see again.

Most modern and well maintained hotel so far in this price category. We had a very pleasant stay for 2 nights. It is slightly outside the city center but with driver or tuktuk it is easy to reach. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. And the 2 guys running this place are so kind! We definitely recommend the hotel when visiting Nuwara Eliya and World’s End. They also arranged a driver for our visit to World’s End.

Loved the colonial history and building generally, bar was very good, best Arrack and lime in Sri Lanka. Hotel location in Nuwara Eliya added to the appeal. Room was excellent and staff very helpful and friendly, great service. It was good to return to The Grand after my first visit 40 years ago. I was not disapointed despite a few small issues.

I cannot begin to describe how amazing the hosts were. They are literally the best and nicest people I have ever met in Sri Lanka. They were genuinely nice and tried their level best to satisfy you in every possible way. This is the right hotel to stay in Nuwara Eliya . It has a great location, very clean and the best customer service ever

Located very centrally on the green fringe of the town, a stone’s throw from the historic golf course, the hotel provides comfort, good food and attentive staff in a more “ intimate” environment than several of the other large hotels in town. Fires were lit in the cool evenings!

There was nothing to like about this terrible place! Built by a rich man / woman run by poorly trained staff! (Staff are good people)! I blame booking.com, for putting all the shitty hotels up on their web page with the owners fake facts!!! I will be using Agoda from now on!

Cosy hotel with outstanding service! Room is fully equipped with what we need, and shower was hot and strong, bed is so comfortable! Wifi connection is strong and hotel arranged reliable car hire with guide for us, who showed us the best of Nuwara Eliya

The location is looking to the lake it was really nice. And the staff was helpful and kind after what happened in the first day... And there is good restaurant beside the hotel it's in front of the lake its name " Indian summer"

The view from the hotel was just amazing! Best view in Nuwara Eliya. The owner was truly friendly, helped us to arrange transport to climb Hortons plain and let us use the accomodation afterwards because we needed to wait for our train.

Amazing view on Nuwara Eliya from the hotel's terrace! Very good service at the restaurant by Wasanta, great Sri Lankan food. The room is simple but very nice: large bed, hot shower, extra blanket. We loved our stay here, thanks!

Prompt response upon booking, helped to arrange tuk tuk services. Super near the Grand Hotel which had awesome restaurant, teahouse and other facilities that brings out the Nuwara Eliya little England charm.

Clean, modern hotel with great value for money especially in Nuwara Eliya. The rooms are stylish, and comfortable. Extra plus for the super comfy bed and pillows! We had an amazing stay!

Gorgeous bungalow with amazing view right in front of Lake Gregory. A bit further from town but we were able to walk back and forth in the cool Nuwara Eliya weather (~40 mins one way).

New hotel walking distance to town centre in Nuwara Eliya, or short tuk tuk ride. Large room, helpful staff and good breakfast.

The staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make your stay happy. The breakfast was excellent and very large. They didnt give us a time for breakfast, they asked us to tell them when we wanted it. Also gave us free lifts to town if they were going out anyway. Rooms very nice, big and clean. Only a short walk to town and nice views. For the price very good! Thank you!

Fantastic hotel. Peaceful oasis amongst tea fields. Wonderful staff. Had a game of tennis on the beautiful grass tennis court. Highly recommend this wonderful hotel. Balcony room with stunning view.

The hotel is a beautiful, fascinating and authentic looking tea factory. It's like visiting the past. The food was delicious. The staff are wonderful.
