The hotel was comfortable providing an open fire and a lounging area to enjoy it, our room overlooked Victoria Park providing a nice outlook and the hotel was a short walk into town but far enough away. We were greeted and checked in by David Robson who was very welcoming and explained all we needed to Know about the facilities. David in our view is a great asset to the hotel and its guest, he explained in detail all answers to our questions and provided genuine advice on local services to our benefit. David has good information about attractions and places to visit, also the drivers of the modes of transport he suggested were reliable and safe. Another staff member Alan (not Alan Border) his words was very attentive to our needs in the dining room and along with David. Alan was a wealth of knowledge of many a subject in particular Sri Lankan high country which we found interesting and enlightening. The meals here we very nice we enjoyed our choices.

Vi kom med tog fra Ella og hadde bestilt transport direkte fra King Fern Cottage. Utenfor togstasjonen var det veldig hektisk. Vi ble glad for å se en minibuss merket King Fern Cottage, som stod og ventet på oss. Ellers var vårt deluxe rom i bungalow i 2. etg. himmelsk deilig. Stort og luftig med herlige senger. Om kvelden opplevde vi et fellesskap rundt biljard bordet sammen med andre turister og lokale. Veldig hyggelig. Vi har gjennom vår reise i Sri Lanka opplevd at det ikke er lagt for mye omtanke i å organisere bygninger/møteplasser for å oppfordre til samvær og fellesskap. De ulike reisegruppene blir som regel værende med hverandre. På King Fern opplevde vi et etterlengtet fellesskap. Gangavstand til sentrum var også helt fint. Tusen takk for oss!

Everything. I think it was the most magical experience to spend Christmas in the property. The staff were outstanding! I will never forget how well we were treated by Viji, Meenamma, Pradeeban and Faris- we miss you all very much! We had the whole place to ourselves on Christmas eve and felt like the lord and the lady of the mansion haha. Christmas eve dinner was excellent and we had the most beautiful french red. The hike from the estate was just wonderful too- followed by the delicious lunch at Meenamamma's rooms. Best stay ever! Highly recommend. I will one day come back for sure.

A true sample of excellent hospitality!!!Upon arrival we were welcomed by the staff and staff was extremely friendly and good service ,the restaurant was flexible on timings and had yummy breakfast ,perfect location very close to the racecourse and etc.. very nice relaxed ambience..Rooms were spacious and clean. Gardens are a highlight.Speck thanks to Mr Mahdi for all the support given during our stay.We would definitely recommend this place to any one who would visit Nuwaraeliya!!!Thank you once again for making our stay memorable..

Everything. Firstly the location ,then the view is just to beautiful. One room faces the Gregory Lake and that view is something worth all the money paid to them. The staff was really nice and helpful. The place is very clean and everything was perfect. Unlike some places that looks good in picture and not good for real. This is the best of both. It looked nice and it was even nicer for real.

The staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make your stay happy. The breakfast was excellent and very large. They didnt give us a time for breakfast, they asked us to tell them when we wanted it. Also gave us free lifts to town if they were going out anyway. Rooms very nice, big and clean. Only a short walk to town and nice views. For the price very good! Thank you!

It was an excellent stay at Queenswood, highly recommended to anyone seeking for a nice stay in Nuwaraeliya. The staff was extremely friendly, the food was excellent and the rooms were very clean and cozy, hot water shower was the best!

Veldig trivelig vert, hjelpsom og hyggelig. Fantastisk å få fyre i peisen når regnet stod på rutene og tempen ikke var mer enn 10 grader- nydelig! Kjempegod stemning, både til frokost og rundt peisen. Anbefales, veldig fornøyd.

Very pleasant staff, helpful, courteous. I had a lovely garden view room that was huge! Fresh tea brought to my room upon arrival. Manager checked in on me personally. The Sri Lankan breakfast should not be missed!!

Fantastic hotel. Peaceful oasis amongst tea fields. Wonderful staff. Had a game of tennis on the beautiful grass tennis court. Highly recommend this wonderful hotel. Balcony room with stunning view.

Wow place, the view is spectacular. Staff working hard and very polite and nice. Room very clean. Super place to stay at. Make me want to come back there. Highly recommended.

Located in a beautiful spot outside of Nuwara Eliya, the property is clean and cozy. Niluke is so friendly and helpful with planning everything.
