This place is exceptional!!! The room is very huge with all the facilities provided like five-star hotel. The staff are super kind and thoughtful. We informed them that we need to leave early morning, they offered to pack our breakfast right-away without being asked! The food is fantastic, pls dont miss it even you are not hungry. The view from the room is amazing. Pricing of the food was surprisedly inexpensive. We ended up tipping the staff 200% of the dinner cost! I don’t like this place, but I absolutely LOVE this place. I wish I could stay longer.

Great hotel at a fantastic location. Amazing buffet breakfast, amazing staff. They even provided driver accommodation and meals for free. The breakfast manager was great, he recommended a tea estate for us to visit upon our request, as we were wary of the tourist traps our driver was bringing us to, and we had a fabulous day thanks to him. He even packed us some food for our baby on the way out.

A cidade em si é diferente de quase todas no SriLanka. fica a 2100 metros de altitude o que a torna bastante fresca, para não dizer fria à noite. è aconselhavel levar agasalhos. Os arredores são lindissimos pois é nesta zona que se encontram as plantações de chá o que faz com que a paisagem sejam de uma beleza sem igual. Para lá chegar vamos por uma estrada bem pavimentada e parece que vamos subir o nosso Marão mas com as curvas da estrada de há 30 anos. Vale muito ir conhecer esta cidade e arredores.

A localização, muito perto da estação de comboio. De realçar que o caminho mais perto é por umas escadinhas ao lado dos correios. Há autocarros ou tuktuks para Nuwara Eliya muito perto do hostel. Não é necessário ir pelo caminho principal que aparece no Google Maps. Fizeram um upgrade do quarto e deram-nos um com casa de banho privativa. O pequeno almoço foi agradavel, típico do Sri Lanka.

O duche do quarto é maravilhoso: com muita pressão e uma temperatura perfeita para o frio que faz em Nuwara Eliya. O proprietário é bastante simpático e disponível e a casa tem uma zona de varanda com duas cadeiras onde se está muito bem. O quarto e wc estavam bastante limpos e a casa fica a uns 10minutos a pé do centro da cidade, faz-se muito bem a pé.

The hotel was comfortable providing an open fire and a lounging area to enjoy it, our room overlooked Victoria Park providing a nice outlook and the hotel was a short walk into town but far enough away. We were greeted and checked in by David Robson who was very welcoming and explained all we needed to Know about the facilities. David in our view is a great asset to the hotel and its guest, he explained in detail all answers to our questions and provided genuine advice on local services to our benefit. David has good information about attractions and places to visit, also the drivers of the modes of transport he suggested were reliable and safe. Another staff member Alan (not Alan Border) his words was very attentive to our needs in the dining room and along with David. Alan was a wealth of knowledge of many a subject in particular Sri Lankan high country which we found interesting and enlightening. The meals here we very nice we enjoyed our choices.

Very helpful hosts and staff. Going out of their way to help you with directions, telling you about the place, helping with ordering food, etc. Can't recommended these guys enough. The place itself was a cosy haven and the common place where they light a fire and all guests gather is fantastic. We had great conversations with both guests and hosts over some rum and wine and loved it. The location is on the hill, a pleasant walk down to the city center and a short tuk tuk ride up. Breakfast is fantastic too. They even packed it for us on the day we were leaving early. Go for this place. You can't regret it.

A true sample of excellent hospitality!!!Upon arrival we were welcomed by the staff and staff was extremely friendly and good service ,the restaurant was flexible on timings and had yummy breakfast ,perfect location very close to the racecourse and etc.. very nice relaxed ambience..Rooms were spacious and clean. Gardens are a highlight.Speck thanks to Mr Mahdi for all the support given during our stay.We would definitely recommend this place to any one who would visit Nuwaraeliya!!!Thank you once again for making our stay memorable..

Everything. Firstly the location ,then the view is just to beautiful. One room faces the Gregory Lake and that view is something worth all the money paid to them. The staff was really nice and helpful. The place is very clean and everything was perfect. Unlike some places that looks good in picture and not good for real. This is the best of both. It looked nice and it was even nicer for real.
The staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make your stay happy. The breakfast was excellent and very large. They didnt give us a time for breakfast, they asked us to tell them when we wanted it. Also gave us free lifts to town if they were going out anyway. Rooms very nice, big and clean. Only a short walk to town and nice views. For the price very good! Thank you!
Very pleasant staff, helpful, courteous. I had a lovely garden view room that was huge! Fresh tea brought to my room upon arrival. Manager checked in on me personally. The Sri Lankan breakfast should not be missed!!

Fantastic hotel. Peaceful oasis amongst tea fields. Wonderful staff. Had a game of tennis on the beautiful grass tennis court. Highly recommend this wonderful hotel. Balcony room with stunning view.
