A good memory from the Ohiya. Even though it was raining both days of our stay and we could not visit the hiking trails in this area, the unique view of the hotel and kind staff made us have a good time. And there is good point for this hotel; it's near to train station

The hosts are a super nice family who make you feel welcomed and at home. Upon arrival they offered us a cup of tea and they also cooked us one of the best Sri Lankan dinners we had so far (and it was not spicy for real, just as we asked :D ). Since we left really early in the morning to get to Horton plains the lovely lady host prepared us an abundant and delicious breakfast to take away! The room was clean, spacious and equipped with everything you may need (blankets, bed sheets, towels). The shower had hot water. The accommodation is located just 25 minutes from Horton plains national park. We would have stayed longer if we could! Recommended 100%!!

The dinner 😋😋😋 as amazing one of the best I had. Hot water was great after the hike . They woke up at 5 am gave me tea and small breakfast and when I came back they gave hot tea and the butter and toast thingy . Yumm Accommodation are basic the view on patio is great . I arrived there and just enjoyed resting . Ahh and only 36 min drive to the park And I believe the are about couple Minutes drive from the train station

We had a wonderful stay at Ohiya Jungle Resort! The natural surroundings are absolutely stunning — perfect for anyone who loves peaceful and scenic getaways. The breakfast was delicious, and the host was always ready to help with anything we needed. A truly relaxing experience in the middle of nature. Highly recommended!

The team at Capoe house do a great job of keeping you happy and entertained. There is a butler that will meet your every need also with an amazing management that keeps the place tidy and beautiful. Food was good, I would recommend going for full board at least.

    Almost everything.

    Almost everything. Location was close to Horton Plains and the owners arranged a tuk tuk ride for a nominal fee. Lovely surrounding. Food was tasty and ample given. Really worth it. Owners were friendly and made the guests feel at home.

    The family was very warm and welcoming. The room is part of the home, making for an intimate experience. The home had a nice view of the surrounding area and the dinner and breakfast was tasty Sri Lankan cuisine. The family also gave us a recommendation for a local walk which we really enjoyed.     The main employer cooks the best food in all of sri lanka! I already miss the delicious rice and curry! It was clean and a friendly environment. You live a little of shore but very close to the train station. That is very practical.

    Close to Ohiya train station. Sheets were clean. Water in the shower was warm, but water pressure low. Three wheeler was available for trip to Horton’s Plains. Dinner and breakfast to go is possible.
