This was one of the best accommodations where we stayed in Sri Lanka. It is immediately seen that host is taking good care of his property, his rooms and his guests, which can be a rare thing on Sri Lanka. If you need any advice, he will be there to help you. Location is very peaceful, you can also chill on bean bags. You need to walk only one or two minutes to reach a nice beach and on another side there are many restaurants, also in walking distance. If you are looking for a good place to stay in Tangalle, this is the place to be.

We stayed here for four nights a couple of months ago and are so happy with our stay! Excellent value. It is a gorgeous hotel in beautiful surroundings. Food was good. The staff in particular are a real strength of the hotel - the wait staff are so friendly, and the manager helped us with local information and arranged transport for us when we wanted to explore the area. On the last night of our stay the hotel arranged for us to have a dinner on the beach which was a real highlight of our whole trip in Sri Lanka!

Amazing service. The hotel staff were super helpful and friendly. We had a few minor issues with our room, they got fixed immediatelly. The hotel is clean and well maintained, even though it's tiny and doesn't have many facilities. Breakfast was delicious, we were looking forward for it every day. Lunch/dinner - good, but not great. Beautiful nature, serene beaches, amazing view. Very relaxing experience. National parks and wilderness nearby - amazing, make sure to explore them.

The location of Lucky Sea Beach Hotel is excellent: right on the beach! It is very close to some fun places to eat, and it was fun to hang out at the hotel as well. The manager, Chathu is a lovely, friendly person, and very helpful. He helped us to enjoy our stay by suggesting things we might like to do in the area, and even helped us get accommodations at our next destination. If you are heading to the airport or to Yala, he can arrange transportation for you.

Our stay was great. Staff was really nice. Bungalows are very comfortable. Great garden- amazing relax. Very close to Silent Beach (nice 10 minutes walk). They organised us vegetarian curry dinner twice which was just amazing - it was so delicious and there is really good atmosfere in the restaurant in the evening - candles, music. We liked the food much more than in local restaurants in Tangalle (which are much cheaper but as I mentioned not so good)

incredible location, private section of beach with beautiful views. the rooms are spotless with comfortable beds. even better is the staff, the nicest team of people who ensure every minute is enjoyed. the food served on site is very tasty whether Sri Lankan or otherwise (would highly recommend the 3 curry and rice). if you want a day trip out the the beaches and ya Galle ask for Piyumal, super friendly and knowledgable.

New hotel, clean walls, the guest house is separated from the owner's and has a shared kitchen (I was alone and had all the place to myself) joined with a dining room on the second floor veranda. You can see mango and bananas growing in the garden. Hot shower. About 5 minutes walk from silent beach. The owner is nice and welcoming, the place is very quiet without the feel of being desolate.

It’s located 5mins drive outside of Tangalle and 5mins to the beach. Perhaps remote for some but perfect for us. Upal is a lovely host, helpful, kind and a good chef of Sri Lankan food. He also kindly amended meals for our children. The pool is lovely and the house is spacious with air con, fans and shutters. Wi-Fi was good. Super friendly driver for local trips was organised.

The hotel is beautifully located. The surrounding is peaceful and the view from the hotel is magnificent. The room is big and comfortable and the shower is the best in whole Sri Lanka. The owner is friendly and we could use the swimming pool from a nearby hotel which was perfect. Nearby beaches are beautiful and very quiet. We would go back here.

OMIA is on the top position of all the hotels we were in Sri Lanka. We simple loved the place, the friendly and helpful staff, the spacious room with its big balcony and perfect view, the nice pool, the excellent breakfast (great cappucino!) and dinner … realy everything. The beach is fantastic. Thank you!

Superb room, very clean, spacious and big bed. Excellent airconditioning and nice shower. 3 min walk from a beautiful quiet beach. The owner arranges the best Sri Lankan breakfast and her smile is priceless. We decided to stay one night longer because of the good vibes.

The place is located to a short distance from the beach! Rooms are spacious and comfy, all it’s well maintained. The family who runs the Villa is so helpful and such a lovely people! And the food one of the best I had in Sri Lanka. I definitely recommend it!

room was comfortable, clean well equipped; staff was super friendly and helpful. clean pool; we were given recommendations about places around (restaurant in hotel was closed at the moment). the beach with wild authentic nature was just 50 m away

The best beach location and view! We could easy travelled from here to all the sites on Southern Sri Lanka. A very warm and nice Shiva's team can support you with everything you need. Always fresh food is made on place by a very good chef.

The host was extremly nice. Best one. Location was few minutes walk to the beach. The place was amazing! I strongly recommend!
