One of the best Moroccan breakfasts we have had and definitely the best coffee. Service was over and above the call of duty - Ali walked with us to the restaurant, for example. And, Aziz, one of the owners, made us feel at home and was full of great travel recommentions. Thank you! Hope to be back soon!

They moved us to an upgraded room on the top floor with beautiful views of Spain and the entire city down below us. The room was warm. The mattresses were comfortable. We had hot water and it was just an exceptional stay. I know you have many options in this city, but I would consider this among the top one or two no matter what. Excellent value.

The ancient site of Lixus is amazing and makes going to Larache worthwhile. The Plaza Espana in the modern town is very atmospheric. There are a few rather run-down hotels in this area. The Medina is quite small and easy to navigate - but it is very squalid.
A daytrip from Asilah to Larache and Lixus would be the best bet - overnight is difficult.

The nearby Lixus ruins dating back to the Carthaginians were an archeological gem, especially when toured with a local guide. But Earache itself is worth exploring...as an authentic Moroccan city not polished up for tourists. Wandering the media gave me a true feeling for how people live.

The place is a Time Capsule and Mr Hassan is a host that makes you feel you have found a new friend. He was extremely helpful - we arrived very very late, way after check in ended, but he met us on the street, helped us with parking and in the end we were up talking and laughing for another hour. In the morning we hang out at the terrasse with Mr Hassan two lovely turtles and learnt about Larache. Also the best mesemen I have ever eaten. Thank you for the stay, it was perfect

Simple but nice accommodation in the heart of Larache. The staff was superb: I had a very early departure in the morning and they fixed coffee and more for breakfast. Thanks!
If you want to visit Lixus (as I did) take a taxi at the central square for around 20 dirham. The place is an amazing Roman archeological site..

The fabulous hosts who made us feel so at home and who shared their love and knowledge of Larache with us. And who also had breakfast and lunch with us. The house itself has been restored in a simple, traditional style throughout, with attention to details. Would stay again.
