I had a wonderful experience in Merzouga, but what I didn’t like were the fake guides who tried to stop us and sell us a terrible experience. Please avoid them and book everything through an authorized place, like a hotel. My wife and I enjoyed our time riding camels to the luxury camp immensely. We had a sunset with sandboarding near the camp, Well-organized trip, clean tent with a hot shower in the desert, and a tasty dinner accompanied by Berber music. All was lovely; we towed well.
