United StatesWe needed a nice, simple but quality hotel in Midelt for originally one night. We ended up staying three nights. Great location, can walk everywhere. Very nice and accommodating staff. Price is great and rooms were lovely. Really nice traditional breakfast. We were there at end of December and easy to park right in front of hotel. Road to Jaffar ends at hotel. Make sure you catch dinner at Merzoouga Cafe for the lively show!

Midelt was an interesting town/city. There is lots to explore there. We enjoyed wandering around the souk. Sitting at the foot of the mountains it is quite beautiful in the changing light.
Midelt feels that it is well looked after and maintained compared to other cities and towns we have visited in Morocco.

This place has the feel of a rough and ready desert town.
This place has the feel of a rough and ready desert town. It has a variety of people who live here, and was dry as a bone when we stayed. We were hoping to hike the surrounding countryside but couldn’t get it together so walked around the various neighbourhoods. This turned out to be a great experience. We found a very interesting Berber village, a completely unexpected Catholic monastery, and a very bizarre but beautiful guesthouse.
We were surprised by this town and think that you might be too.

I had no expectations from this hotel, as I only needed a place to sleep when I was travelling between Merzouga and Fes. It is definitely in European standards, very clean and comfy. The street has plenty of parking spaces and restaurants. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is great.

The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. The aircon worked well, having a heater function. Staff were welcoming and helpful. They let me use the washing machine. There were restaurants, cafes and mini marts around the hotel. The restaurant next to the hotel was also good.

Basic hotel with small bath(room). Newly renovated with care, very clean and friendly staff :)
Comfy beds. Breakfast, coffee & tea was good. They sell nice honey from the local cooperation.
Nice and friendly neighbourhood with lots of shops and restaurants to stroll around.
