A newly-restored ancestral home wrapped around a garden of date, pomegranate and lemon trees, with a stunning simple terrace covered with carpets. Lovely rooms and bathrooms with heat/AC. How beautiful to sit in the morning sun and read on the terrace, or on the rooftop overlooking the palmerie. Amazing to enjoy the picnic lunch they laid out for us on carpets they transported into the quiet oasis. We were lucky to be their first guests. While there were no reviews to rely on, we were drawn by the framing of the mission of the place. We learned more about it when we met the young doctoral scholar whose ancestral home this is, and the highly-educated and thoughtful team—mostly women—who together are actively conceiving the cultural and spiritual project of which the Oasis Heritage House is just the visible part. Their mission is important, and we had the sense of bring privileged to encounter this project—and this team of cultural initiators—in its early days. Their guesthouse environment is ideal now, held in the beautiful spirit of Sufi adab. We can envision the future of this place as an important site of transmission of the lifeways of the oasis and a point of contact with the many Sufi paths that have infused the culture of this region with such a tangible spirit of warmth and serenity. Friends in the world, bring books for their future Sufi library in all your languages. Spread the word of this place among those who hope to find not just an authentic place to rest in the palmerie, but a tangible connection to its living heart.

CanadaOur stay at Riad Aman Skoura was amazing. The facilities is wonderful, but more than anything is the hospitality. Momo is such an amazing person, he made us feel like we were at home : guests, not clients. Momo and his wife cooked some of the best food we’ve had in Morocco. Everything is made fresh: they grow all kind of fruits, dates, vegetables directly at the site. We could see Momo going in the garden to collect the grapes and other things for our dinners. It was an amazing experience we will never forget. The pool is wonderful and has nice lighting in the night. This is an authentic and personal experience. We can’t thank Momo enough for all he’s done for us during our stay.

No detail is overlooked starting with Ahmed himself, who is a naturally warm, open, and friendly host, his well appointed and tastefully decorated rooms, his Instagram ready terrace, beautiful place settings, and delicious menu offerings. After many nights of tanjines, brochettes, and cous cous, his wife Fatima's special beef dish was a delicious and welcome alternative. Breakfast was very generous and delicious as well. Although an affordably priced guesthouse, it provides its guests with first class treatment with thoughtful details.

Czech RepublicFirst of - you get to stay in a castle. Secondly - IT'S A CASTLE (kasbah). At the same time it is also a Berber museum. The host and his family are really nice people. They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed, offered a tour in the museum.
The breakfast was really special and I highly recommend having it.
The room was nicely decorated, spacious, with a balcony. Bathroom was clean and had everything needed. If you need to make a stop on the way to either Merzouga or Marakesh, this is the place.

Abdu, the host and owner was very welcoming and kind. He is fluent in French and can communicate reasonably well on English. I recommend Les Jardins des Grenadiers without hesitation.

United StatesAmazing kasbah if you are looking for a place to stay between Quarzazate and Dades. Run by an extremely nice family, super clean, has a beautifyl garden of pomegranates and oranges, has even its all animals. The hospitality was unbelievable (since we had to leave by 8 am the family woke up to prepare breakfast for us ready to be served at 7.30 am), we had one of the best tajines we had in Morocco, and slept in extremely comfortable rooms. Photos don’t do this kasbah justice, it is an amazing place to stat!

We made this our base for a brief trip away from Marrakesh because of the oasis. Definitely worth coming to see the old way of life as a contrast to the city, and the mud brick kasbahs. I wouldn't bother staying for more than a couple of days unless you're happy doing very little. Nothing to do once it gets dark.

The hotel is fairly remote, and you will need either to hire a car or as we did use transport provided by the hotel for trips to the local market, palm groves, oasis, etc. "Maison 'd'hote Amridril" is a charming small venue. About six rooms only which form a row of low buildings in traditional style. Provisions are basic but adequate, the ornamental gardens are stocked with a abundant variety of plants and food can be provided on site cooked in the kitchen using produce from the hotel's own gardens. The swimming pool is a major feature, clean and well maintained and a couple of visitors arrived from other local hotels without one to use the pool. Overall, the hotel, having only six rooms is very quiet and peaceful. Aziz the manager and his assistants could not do enough to make our stay pleasant. I would return without question for a few quiet days at "Maison d'hote Amridril".

Very accommodating host.
Very accommodating host. The only issue was the mattress, which was changed as soon as it was brought to the host's notice.
Meals were prepared by the lady of the house. Breakfast was included, evening meal was optional. Wifi was excellent. The hosts own palm and pomegranate orchards locally, and offered tours within his family's ownership and around the vast & historic Skoura oasis, with its many and varied casbahs.
There is a range of places to eat in Skoura, an interesting street market and good banking.

a very lively town, with terraces, shops, they hold a market and there is even a huge and very lively weekly market, its people are very nice and it is a town that deserves a stop, there is a very important and almost unvisited kasbah, without crowds, a 10!!!

This is just my personal opinion, but it's definitely worth the trip. A real change of scenery! Dar Lorkam is highly recommended. The welcome and service were top-notch. A huge thank you again to the owners and all the staff.

This was definitely one of the highlights of our 14-days Morocco trip. We stayed for three nights in this beautiful kasbah. It has a lovely huge garden where you can eat the dinner and breakfast. The room was big and had everything we needed.
The hosts are some of the loveliest people we met.
We suggest you also have dinner here as well, as it was the best food we have had in our whole trip. And the portions are huge.
If we are ever in the area again, we will surely come visit again. Thank you so much for a great experience!

This farm was really fantastic!
Both brothers were really friendly and helpful. The way to get there is not so easy, but the place is really great for relax.
Everything was clear, dinner was fantastic and morning omolette also :-)
I can only recomend to stay there. Unfortunattely we had only one night, but I hope in our next visit to Morocco we will stay there longer.

The Kasbah is wonderful and the owners are very nice. There is a nice terrace and a beutiful garden and the dinner was one of the best I had in Morocco with fresh product from the garden.
