First of all, I was upgraded to a superior room which really made me happy 😁
Everyone at the hotel is so friendly and helpful. I can't fail to mention how responsive they are on WhatsApp. I went out for excursions and got lost. I needed help with directions, and when I texted them, they immediately helped. Thanks to Mohamed for the excellent service.
The rooms are so clean. It's one of the cleanest hotels I've been to. The room is spacious and airy, the beddings so clean, and everything you need is available in the room.
Another highlight was the breakfast. So much variety available. The juices were freshly squeezed, and so good.
I wish I had more days there, but I will definitely go back when I am in Tangier again. Highly recommended.

United StatesI had booked a Deluxe Double, facing the Marina, and when we arrived, they had upgraded us to a suite! It was spotless and lovely. The bed was comfy, and they had soft pillows, unlike the bricks at most Moroccan hotels.
The hotel decor is stunning, and it smells amazing. It has all the amenities and is a short walk to the Medina or anywhere else you'd like to visit in Tangier.

CanadaStaying in this little hotel in the heart of the Medina of Tangiers was a highlight of our trip which also included southern Portugal and the Algarve, southern Spain and the Costa del Sol! We are so glad we decided to visit Tangier for parts of 2 days and one night!
A positive Cultural experience and the warmest hospitality, plus the best food in our whole trip made this so memorable!
The Riad was so beautifully decorated with a comfortable bed and modernized bathroom, the lovely young multilingual woman at reception was especially helpful with directions, describing the city and the Medina in particular, plus arranging transportation to the ferry, etc, and the food, prepared right in the hotel was delectable. As there was a big downpour in the evening, we couldn’t eat dinner on the rooftop but the staff set up small tables for two to dine on each of the inner courtyard levels, and served their traditional,delicious foods as a candlelit dinner, even! Tea and cookies on arrival and an excellent traditional breakfast the next morning were served on the terrace.
We felt completely safe in this little oasis.

My stay in Pestana was amazing experience that made me definitely think of going back there when I visit Tangier again.

Tanger [Ṭanjah (طنجة)]Ville Railway Station is very central. Exiting onto a large plaza, the RN16 passing E/W. Lots of Taxis, Hotels, Cafés, Restaurants, in a few hundred meters. A short walk or cheap taxi to the beaches on Bale de Tanger, Strait of Gibraltar, the meeting of Mediterranean and Atlantic. A cosmopolitan port city (pop 1.3m) mixing African, French, Spanish, and Portuguese cultures. Like the rest of Maroc, it is vibrant historic medina, Citadel, Kasbah, Mosque 1684 (جامع القصبة),Dar al-Makhzen, souks, Petit Socco (سوق الدخيل), whitewashed streets, along with the food and the people that will stay with you, long after you have left! Worth reading about the history, the artists and writers, and famous events and people that have shaped the Tanger of today. American Legation Museum (المفوضية الأميركية في طنجة)(1821), Cape Spartel Lighthouse 1864 (5° 55' W) and the Caves of Hercules.

Tangier is a wonderful city to explore on foot.
Tangier is a wonderful city to explore on foot. Whether visiting the old town, the harbor district, museums, or by bus or inDrive transport service. I would avoid taxis, as the drivers are unfriendly and want to drive without a meter or charge an exorbitant amount. The hop-on-hop-off bus is recommended for visiting Cape Spartel or the park.

Medina was not as chaotic/crowded as Fez or Marrakesh.
Medina was not as chaotic/crowded as Fez or Marrakesh. There were also a good museum in the kasbah that displayed a lot of history that was interesting to find out about. It's a very scenic town. The hop on/off bus is a good way to get your bearings. Noticed more beggars here than in other parts of Morocco.

Breakfast was great with traditional Moroccan products!!! Hotel’s location was superb, near the beach, situated in Tangier’s Medina surrounded by shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. It was absolutely great value for money and I strongly recommend it to anyone who would like to stay in Tangier’s Medina and feel the local atmosphere.

We were in Morocco for two weeks on a family trip, we traveled to several cities and had different accommodations, this one was our favorite! Location is perfect to the beach and to the medina, view is unbeatable, plenty of space to chill and enjoy. The only regret we have is staying for only one night!!!

Dar Bargach is ideally located for exploring Tangier. Near one if the gates to the Medina and the famous Hotel Continental. The roof terrace with sea views makes it the ideal place for breakfast on a sunny morning or for relaxing at any time of the day.
