This hotel has the best location for people who come to Monaco by train, it is only 5 minutes by walk from the train station and about 12-15 minutes by walk from the legendary Monte-Carlo casino. Breakfast was delicious, our room was clean and comfy, stuff was very helpful and kind. Rooftop terrace has beautiful views to Monaco. We came much earlier than regular check-in time, around 11 am, but hotel stuff gave us a room. Just for information - there is a small and very good cafe in 2 minutes walk from the hotel on the same street, towards the train station, that works till late night, so if you get hungry, you can go there as we did.

Monte Carlo has made a world-famous name for itself in the worlds of sport and business, despite its small size. Shopping is not that easy, felt super expensive. If you like brand shopping then you will fall in love with the city.
Although we could not, but if you get chance do plan to attend the guard change that take place at Prince's Palace of Monaco

Wonderful clean city. Wear comfortable shoes as its hilly. Don't go if you are a jealous type as the wealth oozes, but do go to window shop and be amongst beautiful things . Amazing architecture. Pace is very relaxed.

It was like being on a film set with millions of extras swanning around.
We liked the hop-on hop-off bus tour. We ate in an Italian restaurant because our hotel, The Ambassador’s restaurant closes on Sunday evenings so be warned. Driving around the city not to be recommended because of all the tunnels. Great for luxury boat and car spotting. Full of entitled people.

I know Montecarlo for many years .
I know Montecarlo for many years . In my opinion it has not improved but deteriorated. The public of today is definitely made of people who want to be seen in Monaco or are looking to snap a fortune. The casino unheard off requires a passport and an entrance fee.
It looks like they are desperate to make money in the absence of habitual rich gamblers

Monaco is definitely different from other locations, the glamour is so evident, especially the Casino area , so was the cleanliness and free from litter !!plus beautiful gardens , Needed more time to learn how to navigate in order to enjoy all the facilities on offer especially the bus service , although
found some good restaurants both medium
& expensive , all in fabulous locations! Definitely visit for longer next time .

Their was absolutely nothing at all to dislike. Obviously the location,- Monaco is world renowned but the Port Palace was way, way above anything we could have imagined, from the check in, to the glorious room with a magnificent view, the restaurant service and meals which were world class and what incredible staff. Unfortunately both my wife and I are in agreement that the Port Palace hotel has ruined us for any other hotel or location anywhere else in the world.

Carole on reception was really wonderful and a great asset ti the hotel - arranged taxis, made recommendations… Room was very furnished, modern and very comfortable with incredible views across the port. Rooftop bar had great service and was perfect for watching Monte Carlo go by. Perfect location for everything you need when visiting Monaco. Good wifi.

AMAZING!!! Our room overlooked the World Famous "Hairpin" and it didn't disappoint. It's a must for all F1 fans.
Amaxing, room, facilities, restaurants and of course location. If you are visiting Monaco then this should be a must stay hotel.
We will be back.

Private beach hotel in Monaco! Close to wonderful bars and restaurants and a good 20 mins walk to casino square.
Love the bar/restaurant on the beach and the indoor/outdoor pool. Great facilities.
