The hotel and staff were great! We'll definitely be back. For dinner, I had the duck and it was the best ever! And it is a big plus that they allow dogs. The bed and pillows were very soft and comfortable. The room was clean, light, airy, and large enough. The location was good, within walking distance to Old Town, shopping, other restaurants, and the beach, but not noisy and overcrowded.
Inspired by opera and art, Hotel Vissi D'Arte offers luxurious and spacious rooms with an artistic touch.

We was 10 days in Montenegro. For me personally it was too long - 7 days is enough to explore all country and there will be time for relaxing too.
Was little disappointed in Sveti Stefan area, but Budva was great. We had best experience in Kotor and Perast.

I liked the way, you could walk all around all the different beaches, through the market, and around the old town. Views were spectacular. Except for Hawaii island apart from a small church that you could not go in, it was scruffy. Most places take only cash no cards. Had a tour to Skala Lake, came with a Montenegro breakfast delish. and a liqueur WOW. then a meal I had the fish it came with head and tail which some people did not like but it came off the bone very easy I enjoyed it, but some people had the chicken or pork and they did not like it, did not look good either, but my Grandson had a vegetarian which was not too bad. We both enjoyed the trip, and recommend. Cetinje we got a bus from Budva bus station. 5.80Euros 1 way and walked around saw lots, very pretty town, then went to Monastery with remains of St Johns hand in.

Overall I liked the place.
Overall I liked the place. The beach was accessible, hotel was pleasant, old town interesting (if a bit too many trinket shops). There seemed to be a lot of development going on, I think new hotels and apartments which will raise the profile of the place but also make it busier.
The restaurants in general were only OK, sometimes more quantity than quality and many were only pizza type places. The fish was usually good. The best restaurant I found was Fontana (part of hotel) which was really good. I also liked the Goddo ice cream parlour around the corner from Fontana. The restaurants are however good value (even Fontana was only around €40) and over a week I probably saved £100-150 compared to similar eating in say France or Italy.

Great choice of things to do and eat.
New Town and old town
Great choice of things to do and eat.
New Town and old town
New Town is being further developed with massive hotels near the waterfront and further inland
Plenty of shops and large shopping centre
Old Town has more atmosphere but is not too noisy
Small bars and restaurants provide a pleasant environment
The better sandy beaches are just past the old town along a footpath under the rocks

Budva good holiday place lots of restaurants bars, beach quite narrow and filled up we sun beds 15e for two. Old town nice to visit.
Best beach Long Beach past Ulicinj. Kotor of course is the main attraction and is well worth a visit though the traffic is pretty horrendous. Basic meals in Montenegro, Pasta Pizza Burgers and bears are cheap but when you get to fish & meat I though it was over priced and a medium glass of white wine in Budva old town 8.4 euros. No vegetables apart from boiled potatoes and spinach even from the posh restaurants, and limp chips with everything.

Way too crowded and overpriced, probably the worst big city on the coast. It's focused on beaches and hotels, so if you only care about that, maybe it's worth it for you. Also, there are some parasailing opportunities in there. The best beaches are on an island, not very easy to access.
And in any case, deserves a quick visit for its old town, but only after you've seen Kotor and Herceg Novi, and probably Tivat and Bar as well

During my stay at Westeros in Budva, Montenegro, I felt like a true master of my domain. The spacious living rooms provided the perfect setting for me to command the space and entertain guests with ease. The well-appointed kitchen allowed me to take charge of my culinary endeavors, and the large dining table was ideal for hosting elegant dinner parties. The shared terrace offered a sense of grandeur, where I could bask in the majestic views and feel a sense of dominion over the stunning Budva Riviera.
We have been travelling Europe and made last minute decision to visit a Montenegro. Planned another city but cruise ship was there so headed to Budvar. Not stayed in hotel this trip so we decided to go for this place as had a great location and parking!
Staff great at check in. Hotel inside was incredible and the bedroom was the luxury I needed. Shower incredible.
Breakfast was nice, no interaction from staff which was disappointing.
Great location to see Montenegro. Comfortable beds, rooms cleaned daily. 10 min walk to main bus station, 20 mins walk to old town. Local buses close by. 2 wonderful local coffee shops and bakery within 5 mins of the hotel. Cute pool with lounges. Free water in reception as tap water not advised. Staff wonderful, helpful and caring over guests.
This hotel is amazing ! The food was good, and the staff were even better l, they made sure they met every need possible especially, vlado, mina & vukasin! when i come back to Montenegro i will be staying at this hotel again simply because of the service !
The hotel has all the services a group doing a drive-around holiday in Montenegro needs.
Private parking, good breakfast and the rooftop pool/sun lounge area.
The walk to the seaside is quite short but the return is some way up hill.
