Budva is beautiful. I especially liked the Old Town. Not a fan of the beaches as prefer sandy ones instead. The bars and restaurants were adequate. In the quieter areas the supermarkets close at weekends which can be an issue. But as it gets popular I am sure that will change. Cash is still needed a lot as taxi drivers only take cash and there are no local buses to get around town.

Everywhere we went was great.
Everywhere we went was great. It is a mountainous country so you do need a head for heights but the views are well worth it. We found eating out very easy and if you do some research there are lots of great places to eat. The traffic can be heavy at times so you do need to pick your times to go anywhere. We always used paid parking (very reasonable) but there is also a lot of free parking.

It was a good place 5-7 years ago. But now it's overpopulated and overpriced. There are many good places, but they are usually crowded. Beaches are not very clean and also always crowded. P.S.: always call official taxies, the drivers "from the street" can set 10x price (not joking, 1 km for 20 EUR).AlexanderRussia
