The staff was amazing, especially the local ones. The room was specious, well equipped and very clean, the bed was awesome and the breakfast was fantastic. Also, the walls are not paper thin so I could not hear anyone else which was great. I would recommend this hotel any day now.

The staff are amazing here. Looked after us very well when we had a slight problem with our room type. The views if the bay are stunning, lovely sunbeds and swimming. Very good breakfast with lots of options. Dinner meals good also including the fish soup. Our room ended up having large terrace with views, definitely book a view room. Rooms modern, clean, beds good too. Perast and old town only a short drive. We enjoyed our 4 nights.

Pricey for a Balkan country, but they are on the Euro.

Pricey for a Balkan country, but they are on the Euro. Riding a bike around the bay is a nice way to spend 5 hours. The Old Town area can be in a day. If you go to the castle add more time. You can use Kotor as a base to visit other beach towns and nature excursions. When I was there, construction was being done on the main road south of Kotor making the ride longer than normal.

The scenic location of Kotor in Kotor Bay is spectacular.

The scenic location of Kotor in Kotor Bay is spectacular. I recommend a boat trip on the bay. You'll need an extra day to fit that in. It's inexpensive, in a small boat, and you get to see the incredible views from the water. The old town is very nice, small, but when cruise ships are in port it is very crowded, not pleasant at all!

Old Town Kotor is beautiful. It is small and very walkable.

Old Town Kotor is beautiful. It is small and very walkable. My husband and I did not walk up the 1000+ steps to the monastery, but others in our group did and said it was amazing. Kotor Bay is stunning! The waters are so blue and the mountains surrounding this entire are breathtaking. It was the perfect location for a destination wedding! (Our daughter was married in St. Tryphon's Cathedral! It was absolutely fairytale perfect!)

The views of Bay for Kotor are incredible! Would definitely recommend a boat trip to Our Lady of the Rocks and Perast. The Old Town is beautiful! If you want to climb the Kotor Wall for free, use the entrance outside the Old Town walls. Beautiful views!

The town is blessed by a glorious setting, the emerald green bay with steep mountains as a dramatic backdrop. The town itself is graced with more stylish Venetian palazzos that you can shake a stick at. But Kotor also suffers from the curse of colossal cruise ships, which can flood the tiny town with hundreds of tourists at once, even in October. There are lovely walks either side of the bay with cafes that have the most scenic views imaginable. It's a good way to get away from the crowds and to enjoy the spectacular panorama. If I had my time again, I would spend three nights in Kotor instead of six and spend at least two nights in Perast, an improbably picturesque spot.

Lovely place that can get very busy when boats are in the dock. It has small streets and this can sometimes be difficult to walk down when thousands of people descend on the city! The surroundings are gorgeous, with some lovely food to be found. The people are very friendly and helpful too. There are numerous people selling boats trips to Perast and other places -- definitely worth it. It is on the pricey side and, because it's quite touristy, there's a lot of ways money is forced out of you. Beware: There's no Uber or Bolt or anything like that, so taxis can charge what they like. They try and charge 15 euros to walk up to the fort (there is a longer way around that is free). Every cash machine charges 5 euros to take any money out, so take some with you, or take large amounts out.

The location for Montenegro is perfect. The staff truly wonderful. Very family run quaint hotel. Breakfast lovely. Beautiful views from the room and the perfect place for relaxation and to get easy access to everywhere. Everything perfect! Would highly recommend. The owners are very kind and explain a lot of things to do in Kotor. The apartment is spacious and clean. We were allowed to stay longer and leave our car while we spent the last day in Kotor. It’s a walking distance (~7min) to Kotor old town and the bay but in a quite neighbourhood! The nicest place we stayed in Montenegro!

Amazing location in the old town. Close to everything, including Kotor's best tour company, 360 Monte, located next door. We cooked meals and were able to do laundry. Slobodanka, the hostess was great and very informative. We went with her tips and recommendations on what to do. We had an amazing time in Kotor & Montenegro.

A good value for money stay in Montenegro. Facilities could be improved, but it was cheap, about 20 mins walk from the old town, and close to the water. Liked that it had a small kitchenette and a balcony. The man at reception is very friendly and helpful.
