We were genuinely impressed by the level of service — truly outstanding! The staff is exceptionally well-trained, professional, and welcoming. Honestly, it’s the best service experience I’ve had in Madagascar, even compared to top-tier hotels like the Radisson Waterfront. The location is ideal, especially if you're preparing for a trip, as it's just minutes away from the airport. The morning buffet is absolutely delicious, and the rooftop offers a charming atmosphere with a lovely little pool where you can relax and unwind. A fantastic stay from start to finish!

First of all, I received impeccable customer service. Everybody was so kind and efficient and really catered to our needs. The food was amazing and the rooms are tastefully decorated. But undeniably, the view is one of the most spectacular in Tana. Fabiola and team will make you feel right at home. The rooms are spacious and cozy … and the bathroom is large with a fashionable modern bathtub and large double sink. Everything works ! My room had a balcony with a fantastic view of the city that was just mesmerizing. I slept like a rock in this very comfortable environment. I highly recommend staying at Lokanga boutique; you won’t regret it

Everything was simply perfect. After reading the reviews of other guests, I was expecting to see completely different hotel (no water in the room, noisy, dirty, full of mosquitos...). I think that some guest stayed in another hotel or their reviews are completely false. This hotel is far best hotel in Tana and the best Radisson I have stayed ever. Staff were the best from reception to housekeeping, from F&B to Guest relations. Don't worry about any questions or needs or problems you have, they find a solution asap. Location was extremely safe, hotel (rooms and facilities) was spotless clean and room was simply perfect in every conditions, design, size, bed, internet, comfort and more. Thanks a lot to all the staff in the hotel for their effort. Simply the BEST!

    Tana has certainly nice area’s, but the center is very crowded and dirty. Not the prettiest place we have been, although the Kings palace (north of Tana), queens palace, marche artisanal de la digue are worth visiting. We did not spent a lot of time in Tana, it was the beginning and end of our trip west and back with rental 4 wheel drive. Maybe next time …

    I spent two days in Tana.

    I spent two days in Tana. The first day, I rested in my room, by the pool, got a massage and relaxed on the balcony at sunset. Then I chatted with the friendly staff at the bar until bedtime. On day two, I had a very good guide and driver who took me around the city. I'm so glad we visited the markets, and the Queen's Palace!

    I loved the visit of the Queens' palace! People in Antananarivo are very friendly, driving is smooth and seems safer than many other cities! Life is also affordable with a viety of different items you might need.

    Antananarivo is what it is.

    Antananarivo is what it is. Which is to say dirty, dusty, noisy and overcrowded. Lots of beggars. Traffic moves at speed of molasses when it’s moving at all - there are no traffic lights, some intersections have traffic cops but they appear to be ignored. And yet…no, there’s no as yet, it is what it is.

    polluted city, quite safe though. only thing that really disturbed me was the fact that kids and women with babies will follow you to harass you to give them money. They will walk long distances with you until you give them a little money.

    Some great places to visit, but the taxi prices are out of control! It is much too expensive just to travel 1 km. Airport taxis are a rip-off. There should be more transparency and printed prices to main destinations.

    Such a wonderful find! Art everywhere, and etherything is done with the upmost taste and care. The Best Boutique Suites in Madagascar? Wonderful restaurant downstairs. Gourmet dinners, served at a high level Phenomenal personal care from the entire staff. . The head waiter even walked me 700 meters to a store to help me find a bottle of rum! Lovely views of the city. They arranged our taxi transport which was very helpful. Highly recommended.

    The host was absolutely brilliant. We had an issue with the bed that we were given and she changed us to another room without question. We also have to leave very early the next morning to drive a long way and she made a take away breakfast which was really nice. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have had in Madagascar and the shower was good. Really lovely place. If you are coming with a 4x4, it is a very tight entrance alley.

    The 7ft wide bed was the most comfortable bed we experienced in Madagascar (and we stayed in 7 hotels during our trip). The suite was very large, with separate living room, entrance hall and huge, showroom-style bathroom. The hotel restaurant's lunch and dinner were very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was limited but sufficient.
