The staff here were some of the kindest and most attentive we had in all of Madagascar! Food was absolutely exceptional! Room was huge, clean, with a working TV, comfortable bed and hot shower - what else do you need? We left for the airport just after noon and they served us lunch on our patio outside our room - absolutely wonderful!

Free pick up from airport Great staff Great food Great room As stated before excellent security turkey’s The lodge was in the middle of nowhere but they do serve food which was excellent I had beef with pepper sauce and potatoes and lemon crepes for desert 45,000 ( approx 15.30aud 8.70 euro $10.15 US$) I really didn’t see anything close by when we were driving there. They also serve breakfast. It was cold when I arrived but no heating in the room but I very warm doona. They have a pool for hot days which looked very inviting but to cold.

    Not many bars/restaurants to choose among.

    Not many bars/restaurants to choose among. Some roads are not even asphalted yet. Most of properties look like prisons due to the barbed wire on the walls of houses. You are about 50 minutes driving far from the city centre, but close to Croc farm, worth a visit.

    The rooms are nice and big, the staff is very nice and very helpfully, arrival and departure time are flexible as long as you dont exaggerate. all in one, i totally recommend this hotel. not to forget that you dont hear a sound of the cara or plane or anything from outside. Dont forget to have a some italien food jn the restaurant which belongs to an very nice Italien chef and to have a good laugh with him. i have the pizza diavola and if you dont have it strong enough, get the green spicy..;-)

    Room was palatial, and Ives and his staff incredibly attentive and helpful. Food was generous . Very much personal service. Close to airport, and I felt much safer in Ivato than in Antananarivo.
