SpainWhat an amazing experience. The hotel was lovely, clean, and very well maintained—but most of all, the manager and staff truly went out of their way to help us.
My son had a bad stomach ache, and we needed to go to the hospital. Ivana, the manager, very kindly offered for Sofia, one of her staff members, to accompany us at 10 p.m. Without Sofia’s help, we would have been completely lost. She assisted us with all the translations and helped us navigate the hospital process.
I have never received this level of five-star service anywhere. We were so incredibly grateful to the Theater Hotel. A special thanks to Ivana, Sofia, and Iliana, who supported us through the entire situation.
This hotel is truly special, and the owner has clearly chosen wonderful people to be part of the team. Many congratulations.
Also, the breakfast was fantastic, featuring delicious local delicacies.

North MacedoniaThis place is higly recomended! The location is great, it is outside of the town (10 minutes to Bitola), its quiet, perfect for a relaxing weekend. It is evident that the vila is new, everything in the room is new, the beds are comfortable, there is comodity. Also the view on the mountain is pretty nice. It is very clean. The hosts are also polite and reachable.
The restoraunt is also amaizing, tried several dishes - all perfect. Traditional Macedonian cuisine. Overall excellent expiriance.

Born there and first time back in 74 years. Walked a lot, retracing my early childhood years’ steps!!! Nostalgic indeed!! Easy to go day trips to different towns/places. Amazing scenery. Saint Naum’s Monastery is a definite must to see. It’s 30kms from Ohrid. We took a private driver/taxi for the day and he was amazing and explained everything for us. There are also daily buses for day trips, really cheap! The Capital is Skopje where we went by bus and stayed for 3 days! Oh my goodness. Must see!! We were in awe. Trip will not disappoint

Bitola is a wonderful place to visit.
Bitola is a wonderful place to visit. We went on hiking trails, walked the Shirok Sokak many times, walked to the Farmer's Market every other day, and found the perfect Bourek and fresh bread within walking distance. We had a great time visiting for the 30 days we were there.

A historical city with lots of influence from previous occupiers, Turks, Bulgarians...
Via Egnatia that used to go from Adriatic to old Constantinople passed through town.
A visit to old Roman city in the suburbs, Heraclea Lyncestis, built by Philip II of Macedon, is a must.
Not a big variety of hotels, some very good food.
Lots of roadworks.

I always have great time in Bitola.
I always have great time in Bitola. The city has a famous "walking street" in the center, with plenty of restaurants, shops, parks etc. The architecture is relatively well preserved, ancient Macedonian archaeological site is adjacent to the city. The NP Pelister is nearby, with 2 small ski centers nearby and some great hotels and villas in the nearby villages. Prespa Lake is less than an hour away, hour and a half to Ohrid Lake. Great food overall, exceptional restaurant in the new mall.

Bitola is a lovely and lively city!
Bitola is a lovely and lively city! It has a handful of really interesting sites (esp. archaeological site is a must) and the atmosphere is beautiful. Shirok sokak (the main street) and the central park are a magnet to simply walk and watch people pass by.
There are some hills nearby if you want to have a great view or have nice walks around too.

A exceptional apartment in an excellent central location near the clock tower, old town, covered bazaar & St Dimitri church one of the most beautiful in Macedonia. The owner, Blag, is kind, friendly & helpful. He met me on arrival & explained everything about the apartment to me. It’s spacious, spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished, with a well equipped kitchen & powerful shower with constant hot water. I will definitely stay here again if I visit Bitola.

very attentative to leave some dutch flowers (fake) and a dutch tourist book about Macedonia in the room
had a bit trouble finding them because they are a bit obscured in a corner on the square, which is hard to see from a car but when I got out it was easily found
breakfast is in the hotel restaurant and has a special menu with options for the hotelguests. breakfast was good.

Very well-managed small hotel in Bitola. The personnel was A+ throughout our interaction, very professional and helpful. Good breakfast at a decent price, the rooms were spacious and bathrooms very adequate. AC worked well, good water pressure. Not exactly a prime location but still very walkable to downtown. The private parking was a great addition as well.

A great apartment and in an excellent location, within walking distance from Bitola's Clock Tower. Modern, clean, everything necessary for kitchen, bathroom was supplied... even a bottle of Macedonian Smedervka wine. Will definitely stay at Javor Altura apartments.
