Skopje is a lovely city with beautiful center.
Skopje is a lovely city with beautiful center. Around the Macedonian Square you'll find plenty of statues and fontanas. On the old city side there are small shops in a narrow old pedestrian streets. There is also a bazaar-style area, where you can find food, vegetables, home utensils and basically everything in very cheap price. The area is really worth of walking. In Skopje there are plenty of nice restaurants, both modern style and traditional ones with tasty Macedonian food. The must to taste is ajvar, a tasty red side dish made mostly from red paprikas and eggplants. Skopje is affordable city and the people there are friendly. The city center is easy to handle and walk around. Taxis are also very cheap. Don't forget to visit the house of Mother Teresa and familiarize yourself her amazing life and how she became one of the most influential people in the world.

My stay in Skopje was nothing short of extraordinary.
My stay in Skopje was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I arrived, the city captivated me with its rich history, vibrant culture, and welcoming atmosphere. The blend of ancient architecture and modern amenities created a unique and memorable backdrop for exploration. The locals were friendly, always ready to share stories and recommend hidden gems. The diverse culinary scene delighted my taste buds, offering a tantalizing mix of traditional Macedonian dishes and international flavors. Whether wandering through the Old Bazaar, marveling at the Stone Bridge, or enjoying a relaxing evening by the Vardar River, every moment in Skopje felt like a journey through time. The city's charm, combined with the genuine hospitality of its people, made my stay an unforgettable experience. I can't wait to return and continue unraveling the magic of Skopje
This was one of the best and unique experiences I've ever had in a hotel. It's a ship that has been made into a hotel, so awesome! The staff was very friendly, they make you feel at home and will do everything they can to help you with anything you need. The bar/restaraunt on the top floor is really nice and actually turns into a club at night. If you are in Skopje and are looking for a place to stay, don't even think twice. Stay here if this hotel is available. Everything was clean and the room was very nice and relaxing.
Beautiful hotel, spacious room with comfortable and big bed and sauna! The best hotel room I have ever stayed! Great location, near the old bazar and city center, excellent breakfast! But even more amazing than everything abovementioned is the hotel staff- wonderful people, receptionists, hotel manager, hotel owner, always at disposal to their guests, very kind and helpful! The first time I felt at home in a foreign country! Great experience, will stay again in hotel Sultan next time in Skopje! Thank you :-)
Goran was the perfect host and made the experience much better. He upgraded our room (no extra charge) for extra space, gave us his umbrella when it was raining and he drove us to the airport. He really goes the extra mile to make your stay more comfortable. The rooms were tidy and clean. This hotel is really affordable and it's a 10 min walk from the city center.
Close to the center and bus stops. Staff are great people(Turkish&Colombian). Rooms are quiet and guests know the concept of hostel and follow the rules. Hotel is quite clean. They offer free coffee and tea. Under the bed there is a place to put the bag and the locker.
If you travelling alone, you will find people like you so definitely best option in Skopje.
The apartment was amazing and the facilities were exceptional. The host was friendly and helpful with everything. Amazing location just 5-10mins walk to the center and with a bus stop just under the building which is one of the best and most modern buildings you can stay at in Skopje and not only!
I recommend it for everyone short or long term stay!
Stuff is super nice and helpful. Our room was spotless, and the breakfast was excellent.
We got extended check out unitl 14:00 with no extra charge and hotel arranged taxi to the airport for us, they use electric car which was another pleasant surprise.
All in all, we plan to book Solun Hotel & Spa again in our future visits to Skopje.
Kanet is cosy hotel, very suitable for short stays (2-3 days). Room and bathroom are clean, heating is good. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast is decent. Really excellent price/quality choise. Hotel is by the park, which is very conveniant if you workout or enjoy walking. Location excellent, 10min easy walk to the center.
Super nice location, directly in the center of Skopje, just a few minutes from all relevant places. The Hotel Manager Semi was always taking care, that your stay would be as perfect as it can be.Would definitely recommend Hotel with a super freindly and always helping staff.
Good hotel for a short stay, right in the center of Skopje old center. You can say a bit of classical balkan and also turkish climate in Europe;). Hotel clean and affordable price. Pretty good breakfast.Good restaurant just in the same building.Pretty...
The hotel is in the city center with an own free parking lot. It makes very easy to stay when you stop for a night and do a good sightseeing in the afternoon. The staff is really nice and kind. The room was clean, beds are ok.
I always stay in Limak when in Skopje. It’s in the city center, but because of the good soundproofing you don’t hear any of the city noise.
it’s also clean and comfortable, everything a 5star hotel should offer.
Nowhere near a 5 star hotel. We booked a room that can sleep 3 but when we arrived they gave us the portable beds before we complained and changed us next day. Rooms are not clean and breakfast is shite
The spa and fitness centers were incredible. All the required equipment. That restaurant was not only of high quality, but had a large quantity of Macedonian wines. Also, the hotel is ideally located.
The hotel is very comfortable, with good breakfast and very good WiFi. The staff is kind and professional. Hotel location is perfect for tourists - near Old Bazaar, Skopje Fortress and city center.
Location is good, close to city center. Hotel is in perfect condition and my room was very good. So clean and comfortable. Staff was too good and helpful. I strongly recommend this place.
The hotel is very close to the city center. Virtually every sight can be reached on foot. The rooms are bright and the beds are very comfortable. The staff is personable and helpful.
