The authenticity of the place is stunning. Staff and their services were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. It reflects the management they have at the hotel … hats off to the GM. The restaurant area along with the food and beverage are both amazing. Best location in town! Everything can be reached in distance walking.

We stayed at the Ibis and couldnt sleep at all. The Novotel was a welcome change. We regretted not booking the Novotel for all our nights in UB. The room was clean, spacious, the beds were so comfortable, and best of all you didnt hear noise form the outside which was a huge problem at the IBIS.

The property is located closely to the cashmere shops and close to the center in the sense that you’re close enough but not so close that you’ll be stuck in traffic from 1 second. The facilities are great and the restaurant has an extensive menu and an outdoor place to eat which should be tried. The food we got was great especially the “big mama” which was as great collection of all sorts of dishes in one.

    Had to stay on gear as organising a tour. But 4 days would be enough. Nice enough city. Shopping malls ok, some rather funny with layout. Good coffeee and cafes. Lots of statues to look at. Genghis Khan statue worth a visit. Eagle holding amazing. Had a go at archery. Visit to turtle rock ok, not a difficult climb. Nice trek up to the monastery .

    Ulaanbatar hotel is a nice hotel with an authentic Mongol atmosphere. The staff is very forthcoming, the rooms are comfortable and clean and it is well located in one of the nicer districts of Ulaanbaatar. At check out the promised breakfast box wasn't there and it made me nervous that my room needed to be checked by the staff before I was let "off the hook" while I had to leave in order to catch my plane.

    The city gets a bad rap for being congested and full of traffic. I felt that it is good to stay at least a couple of nights to see the National Museum, the Changgis Khan Museum and visit some of the parks. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to see everything.

    Location is great, very friendly staff. Rooms were a great size and very clean. Just check your AC before unpacking your bags. The hotel has a great coffee shop in the lobby, which serves great coffee.

    All main attractions are around Sukhbaatar Square.

    All main attractions are around Sukhbaatar Square. If your hotel is a bit far from it, you may use a bus, they run very frequently, you don't need to wait long at the bus stop. I really recommend visiting a folk show for tourists at the drama theatre Үндэсний Урлагийн Их Театр. Some important tourist attractions are outside Ulaanbaatar, so book a tour to see Chinggis Khaan statue and visit Terelj National Park. For shopping I recommend Shangri-La Mall.

    There are many things that make Urgoo Hotel an excellent choice: It's on a pretty street next to restaurants and less than 5 minutes walk from Sukbaatar Square (which incidentally is also the terminus for the airport bus); breakfast options are good; and rooms are spacious and comfortable. I arrived in Ulaanbaatar very unwell, and staff went out of their way to ensure I was properly cared for in every way (water, food, healthcare) while I recovered. I was so grateful for that, especially as I was travelling solo.

    This is not a hotel! You have to know that. The standard is very basic. But if you want to sleep in a yurt and in a typical Mongolian atmosphere, this is a good choice. The owners are very friendly and speak English. They are always available to help. Organise your first arrival, the guesthouse is difficult to find. I would never have found the guesthouse without the help of the friendly taxi driver. The guesthouse is very close to the Gandan Monastery. The centre is about 3 km away and easy to reach.

    Got picked up from airport and check in was smooth. Upon my request they allowed early check-in, else would have frozen into a statue. The apartment is big with all amenities, nice and tidy. Manager Boldtsetseg and Batsuren organised a tailor made tour for us to live in a Ger in country side and visit interesting places. Good food at restaurant in level 1 and not pricey. Mongolia is a must visit place and Eagle Town apartment is perfect place to stay.

    The location is great for seeing the sights in Ulaanbaatar, the breakfast is a great addition and the staff are super friendly and helpful! The airport taxi service that they offer for an additional fee was also very helpful and timely. I highly recommend this place!!
