We loved how spacious the apartment was and how well equipped it turned out to be. There’s a washing machine and plenty of space to hang clothes, so everything dries quickly. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, and with three separate bedrooms plus a living room, it’s ideal for a family with two children. A baby cot was even provided free of charge, so there’s room for a toddler as well. The living area is bright and generous, and there are two bathrooms — one of them with a bathtub, which is super convenient when traveling with little ones. There’s also a freezer compartment, so you can easily store frozen pizza or other food. Right across the street, there’s a small spot where you can go for a swim, and about 900 meters away you’ll find Pretty Bay — a lovely beach with lots of family-friendly options like an outdoor gym, football field, playground, and plenty of restaurants. Shops are just around the corner, which is really handy if you don’t have a car. Air Conditioning worked fine, you could set the temperature as you like. We didn't watch a lot of TV, but there were plenty of interesting channels (music channels etc., cartoon channels, different languages....)

From the moment I arrived, the service was flawless. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. My room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated with attention to detail, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was unbeatable – within walking distance of key landmarks, and yet the hotel was peaceful and quiet at night. The breakfast was exceptional, offering a wide range of delicious local options. I also appreciated the extra touches, such as complimentary refreshments in the lobby. Special thanks to Axel and the team for being super caring and supportive throughout my stay – they truly made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area – it truly exceeded my expectations. Can’t wait to come back!

    Not your normal seaside holiday resort. The freeport as a back drop can be a bit of a shock but is soon overlooked. The Village is quaint with ample facilities, but not the place for people looking for nightlife. Lovely. Great time had by all our family.

    The town is well situated and easy to access from the airport. Buses are regular, so other parts fo the island are easily accessible. There is a small sandy bay which is great for families. They have life savers, a wheelchair ramp down to the water, water buggy and chair lift for the disabled. There is a wide, modern promenade which includes sporting and exercise facilities, a stage and restaurants dotted around this area. The restaurants hardly offer traditional/typical maltese food (burger, pasta and pizza was the on offer everywhere) and the night life is non existent. The available facilities are not used to their full potentional sadly.

    We live on Gozo and carry Malta Resident ID cards but do truly enjoy visiting Birzebbuga two or three times a year , It is close to the Malta International Airport but has a more Maltese feel that many other tourist destinations on the Island. Excellent restaurants, safe beaches and easy access to Valletta and many spectacular historic locations. However if you are reading this with the intent of visiting the Maltese Islands, do also try to visit our own home Island of Gozo, It is very different from Malta,

    It's a typical little Maltese town.

    It's a typical little Maltese town. We found it interesting watching the cargo ships being loaded. No big supermarkets but lots of little shops. Covo ,Dar is sajjied and District Five restaurants were fine dining but the other restaurants on the beach served excellent quality food.

    Birżebbuġa itself is an ok place, nice walks through the...

    Birżebbuġa itself is an ok place, nice walks through the park and on the beach and ie you like looking at large container ships unloading cargo, (Pretty bay is a free port) it's the place for you . The only thing I would recommend about Birżebbuġa the warm water of the beach (the beach is full of cigarette buttes and litter) and the public bus leaving Birżebbuġa (it's only 2.50 euro anywhere and you can use the same ticket within 2 hours on any public bus) You may enjoy Birżebbuġa because it has a beach there aren't many sandy beaches in Malta. I do not give Pretty Bay apartments as good a rating as Booking.com it's a lot worse.

    The whole island of Malta is not that big, so it doesn't realy matter in which part of island you are located. Birżebbuga is less crowded with tourists and offers long walk along the coast. It has two nice sandy beaches with clear water. There is also a playground on the Pretty bay beach.

    I recently stayed at South32 Hotel in Birżebbuġa, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome! They were friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and impeccably clean. My room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly.

    The guesthouse is in the city center and next to the beach of Birzebbuga. The room was small, but cosy, the bed very comfortable and we had a big balcony facing to the beach and the industrial port. In the same building on the ground and the first floor you have several restaurants. The beach is a sandy one, on the other side of the main road, in front of the building.
