The property was clean, homey feels and elegant ambiance. Very beautiful. The housekeeping put much attention to detail on how I tidy my things. This is the only hotel that have kept my things all in order the way they saw how I arranged my personal things. Staying here for a week felt like home.

We really enjoyed the remarkable hosts who fashioned an historic building into an ideal landing spot for a traveler. The hotel has a fabulous siting - in view of old Malta, but just outside the fray. This in one of those rare boutique hotels that offer just what a traveler needs: a comfortable stylish place in the right part of town AND great intel to help the visitor quickly orient and enjoy the city. The hospitality was fabulous, and the roof top deck one of the best views we had in Malta.

The pictures do not do justice to this gorgeous apartment. Very large, sunny apartment with spectacular views to the port of Sanglea and Valletta. The bedrooms are in the back of the apartment and they are very quiet. The living room is bathed in sun, the kitchen is very comfortable. Easy, ten minute walk to the ferry to Valetta. So much to see and do at Sanglea. We were fortunate to be there in mid-August and enjoyed amazing ritual parades and nightly spectacular fireworks in honor of the Virgin, the feast of Santa Marija! Lots of restaurants in the area. The only challenge was finding a supermarket.

    Great base for exploring the three cities and Valletta, Senglea was more relaxing than a stay in Valletta but had great transport links to and from Valletta, with Senglea being one of the three cities the other two were adjoined and therefore accessible either on foot or by taxi. There was a good variety of restaurants and all very reasonably priced, we never had a bad meal during our stay. Places we ate at and would recommend were Aroy-d-Fusion, Il-Pirata, Il-Hnejja and Novita,

    Lovely neighbourhood, convenient to ferries and buses. Great restaurants "JuFu Asian restaurant ", Mykonos by Yiami, Don Berto restaurant and the Date Art cafe. Quiet and friendly, would highly recommend

    We really enjoyed the quiet neighbourhood feel of this part of Malta as Senglea is still very much "old Malta" and hasn't been overdeveloped like other parts of the island. If you are touring around Malta you'll probably rent a car and on street parking wasn't a problem. If you don't want to rent a car there's a bus terminal in the centre of Senglea. The Valletta ferry is a 20 minute walk away and on the return trip you can take a small local boat for 3 euros and they will drop you off in Senglea. There are some wonderful restaurants along the Senglea and Copiscua waterfronts and some small grocery stores dotted throughout the neighbourhood. We loved our stay in Senglea.

    There's a continuous back and forth ferry to Valletta.

    There's a continuous back and forth ferry to Valletta. Costs 2 euros and gives great views of the three cities and Valletta. The area has masses of character and a feeling of being in the centre of things yet it's very quiet and relaxed. Better than staying in Valletta and much better than staying in Sliema.

    Lots of good Harbour restaurants walk round the harbour to Birgu and visit museums and churches. Catch the ferry or small boat to Valletta or people watch over a glass of wine. Not so much else to do in Senglea and the area is hilly and lots of steps so not so good if your mobility is troublesome. We had a lovely time and was a nice place for a short break.

    Senglea is an excellent location to holiday, particularly if you don’t want too much noisy nightlife. It has lovely walks by the seafront with easy access to water Taxis to Travel to Valeta. It also has a fine range of restaurants and interesting museums, together with a nice sea swimming option at the point.

    Communications with the staff was amazing. We arrived at the hotel around 2am and they left instructions on what to do etc. The food was lovely and simple, Sophie was exceptional, always keen on sharing experiences and where to go and what to see. The bed was nice and firm and the bathroom is really spacious and modern. There's also a rooftop where you can see the area, amazing view.

    Views from the balcony were outstanding. Passed alot of the time here. The apartment was spacious and welcoming. It was a haven at the end of the day away from the many tourists in Valetta. Senglea is a great area it has a great ambiance without being overly full of people.
