Alot of bars and restaurants and the shopping mall The Point but nothing more. The waterfront walks actually wonders up to Saint Julian’s and it’s nice in the early morning for a run or walk. In the evening and night I prefer other areas Traffic gets crazy on certain hours and cars are bottled up.
Great place to travel and relax, get lost in its streets and enjoy of a different Europe. Best thing in the world is that is so tiny that you can get to know the whole country in a few days and really enjoy it.
Sliema has plenty of bars and restaurants and is an excellent base for exploring Malta, especially if using public transport. However, recent development has left it rather ugly from an architectural perspective; it is also a little expensive.
Loved the public bus service it was a very inexpensive way to get around Malta and the buses were frequent. Loved the beaches and the water was so clear and warm. We were not a fan of the food a little bit oily for us so we ate in a lot. We thought Malta was so unique it reminded us a medieval city of days gone by.
The Windsor hotel is a totally 1 star hotel. How it gets 4 star rating, even in Europe is a mystery. Nothing works in this hotel and many other guests have made the same comment. It is very old and needs a major renovation. I wish I was able to lodge some photos so that I could share our experience.
Great neighborhood. And the Victoria Hotel is perfectly located. Loved it .If you stay in Sliema, please visit Tiffany's Bistro. You won't be disappointed, I promise you. And the staff is very attentive. Enjoy this beautiful island as much as I did for 12 days! 😎🍾

Was lucky enough to be first guest to stay in this hotel. Hotel is modern and exceptionally clean. Staff were wonderful. Had corner balcony so could see sea on both sides. Even had a seat on balcony to enjoy a bit of winter sun. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Only a few minutes walk Sliema Ferries and Beach Club, obviously this wasn’t open (December). Bus stop is close by, should you wish not to hire a car. Has a lovely SPA and I had a facial which I can highly recommend.

The staff were amazing, willing to help and friendly! The rooms were really spacious and with an air conditioner (though we went early Jan so we used it for the heating) Showers were great for the hot water in January when It was quite cold. It was just across the road from all the boat trip activities and there were lots of thriving sea front restaurants on the door step. I would definitely recommend Sliema Marina Hotel!

Location is perfect! Staff is friendly. Easy check in and check out. I asked for a balcony and got one. Price: you could say it is expensive, but it is though one of the cheapest hotels in sliema. So i guess price is ok. Plus the room is equipped with what you need: own bathroom, very small kitchen, water heater, fridge, AC, new towels every second day (if you ask for it).

We love staying in this hotel. The location is great, close to bus stops, beach, restaurants, and the promenade. St. Julian’s is just literally few minutes away. I just want to thank everyone who made the 30th birthday of my boyfriend a memorable one. The management got involved with everything, from the balloons to setting up our room to the cake. You are all amazing!

It was super clean and a great value for money. Located in Sliema only steps away from St Julians in a very quiet residential area (except during the mornings, there’s a school right across from the hostel!). The staff was very nice and they immediately brought me a heater and extra blanket when I mentioned I was cold. The room had a kettle, mini fridge and sink.

I like its location at the middle between St. Juliet and Valletta. You can walk to any of them easily. Moreover, the hotel is right facing the corniche. Staff were so kind and friendly especially in the restaurant. I booked half board booking with good money value. I requested water from the room service and it was brought up to my room within two minutes. Walk up call was provided as well. WiFi connection was very strong from my room. In short, diplomat hotel staff made my four nights holiday unforgettable and I shall definitely stay again at this hotel whenever I visit Malta again in future.
