Service and restaurant . Really very nice staff and service. My mum has problem with her leg and they arranged the room just near restaurant .and all my requests and questions were solved or answered very well.And I stayed 4 hotels ,all are 4or 5stars hotels around Mauritius island and their buffets for breakfast and dinner were high level among them.we even had a Chinese traditional topic eve buffet with high quality food and a live dancing show.

This hotel is a real gem! New building in an amazing location just across from a lovely white sand beach in Flic en Flac. My room was HUGE and had a large balcony facing g the ocean. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with lots of variety of food. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful!

My husband and I were very happy to stay. If you want to have a luxury experience then this place isn't the place to be for you. It is like a homestay, there's everything you need. The location is really good, the beach and restaurant are walking distance (within 7 min) The hosts are really friendly and helpful. Some reviews said the internet speed is low. But I could work smoothly(I didn't use video or voice call though) We didn't use kitchen for cooking. Gus stove with oven and pots are there. The washing machine isn't attached inside of your room, but it is outside for use. I am sure we will be back here if we come to Mauritius again !

Hotel has the best location, it is on Flic en Flac beach, where it has the best view that you can get over Le Morne. There are several big names hotel along the same beach (hilton, maravandi villas, sofitel, sugar beach, la pirogue), but none of these have the view that Sands Suites have. Also the beach is much better integrated to the hotel with the infinity pool next to it, in comparison with the other hotels, which are somehow separated hotel versus beach. Rooms are very big, very comfortable, bathroom is something special, very big, with a big dressing included, a separate (with door) wc, both shower and bath tub provided. A special note for the personnel, which are very professional, very well mannered. Sports equipment included.

    Walking on the beach was fun, and the water allowed easy swimming even for the not-so-strong swimmer. The food carts added restaurant variety. We had good meals at Bouganvillea and Chez Pepe, but also enjoyed eating in and watching the sunset. Lovely shopping, interesting people, and the public bus service worked for us. However, it was interesting that the same trip was free outbound and then cost 100 rupees (3 people) for the return trip (with no tickets issued).

    Flic'en'Flac is the best place to stay on Mauritius,...

    Flic'en'Flac is the best place to stay on Mauritius, especially if you're visiting Mauritius in July. North was windy, south rainy but west side just perfect. It is a nice, vaste sandy beach with pine trees and palm trees, nice hotels and resorts, bars, restaurants and street food.

    We liked our chosen accommodation, we had a good view of the beach from our balcony, the staff were great and we want to go back to sample lunch at the Creole Shack! The beach was lovely and safe for swimming and there was a good variety of eateries from beach stalls to high end restaurants and all manner of cuisines. Everything is in walking distance and four km in land there is a very large mall being built and a new state of the art hospital. We will definitely be going back.

    Good vibe, nice restaurants, felt safe, fantastic snorkeling opportunities from the beach, convenient shopping mall at Cascavelle for groceries, etc. Proximity to Tamarin to catch catamaran trip. As a family of 5 we rented a car, which worked out very well. Taxis are expensive if you want to get around with 5 people, simply to do shopping, etc.

    Very pretty beach for a swim or picnic, parking can be tricky so if you see a spot take it :), the sand is soft but there is some coral on the beach and water if you have sensitive feet pack some water shoes. Lovely location for a swim and relax.

    Flic-en-Flac offers not a fancy stay, but congenial, friendly, and economical environment. Swimming in the ocean or taking a mile long running along the shore allows visitors to stay in good health while traveling. This is one of the very rare spot visitors get to mingle with Mauritian residents more closely, unlike in other fancy hotels. FNF is relatively a residents' beach retreat with great sunset scene.

    Especially the pool & rooms which was very nice and privacy. I would recommend ANY guests to have a stays there at OCEAN BLUE VILLA. As I/ we really appreciate a lot. The place is very quiet to relax & sentimental. All the facilities(Wifi & Internet connection) are there. All amenities are wonderful. I would rate this place 10/10.     Johanna was the owner of the apartment and she was very kind and she has such a good soul.she was Always there when we needed and wanted that we have our best vacation.it was very Clean,for ist the Most important thing when travelling with a child.it was very mordern and the beachbag was the perfect extra.thank you so much for a good time in the Island. Ah and she was born here,so she knows everything about Mauritius.

    Room was spacious and clean. Had basic necessities in it. Parking is available. Place has a kids pool, main pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was amazing and it usually changes everyday. Reception was kind enough to always help with requests like milk for kids or guide with suggestions in Mauritius.

    Huge apartment, kitchen with all amenities, huge and not too soft bed. Really, really great host, who helps a lot with everything. Fantastic place to stay and explore Mauritius. Restaurants and bars are 5 min walk and beach is 7 min walk.
