Everyone is hospitable, kind, and helpful, from the chef and the cleaner to the owner. The food in the restaurant is top-notch and quite affordable. Once, I didn’t like my meal, and they refused to charge me for it, which is something that rarely happens in Europe. Essentially, Europe should learn the principles of hospitality from the people of Mauritius. A warm recommendation for Le Pole! P. S. Chef from Kongo is making best cocktails! Great guy

Both the owner and the staff were friendly, informative, and welcoming. The location is a quick 2 minute walk to a bus route, and therefore accessible to Grand Baie, Peyrebere, Moint Choisy and the rest of the North. They helped arrange tours and transportation as needed. The room was super clean and had the best shower during my entire stay in Mauritius. The amenities and set up in the room were very thoughtful for comfort and a multi-day stay. The breakfast was appreciated. And, the cat is lovely too!

Great Location and Lovely Continental Breakfast! I really enjoyed my stay! The continental breakfast was fresh, well-prepared, and had a nice selection of food and good coffee. It was simple but satisfying — just what I needed to start the day. The location was excellent, very central and close to everything — restaurants, shops, etc. All were within easy walking distance. Perfect for exploring the area without needing a car. Would definitely stay here again!

We liked everything! The property is very well maintained, the hosts pay attention to details: crisp bedding, daily clean towels, comfortable chairs on the balcony, very clean swimming pool. The breakfast was tasty and well decorated. The rooms are cozy, clean and equipped with everything you need.

    Mauritius is called by its locals as paradise island i mean everyone says amazing things about the country they originate from however the people of mauritius truly mean it when they say it, its a beautiful colourful, green and tropical country with endless miles of beaches always a stone throw away. where ever you go you see beautiful coconut trees, palm trees and mango trees and some stunning birds, colourful dragon flies and bats the nature alone is so breathtaking. the food, the locals, the price point of excursions, the weather and the beaches were literally out of this world. its a country that i would genuinely consider going again and again infact i actually cant wait to step back into mauritous and forget my blues, if your a avid diver or snorkler then mauritius is a must, we did so much in the space of 9 days from paragliding, snorking with turtles, undersea water walking, diving, water sking, off road riding using ATVs/quad bikes, watched horse racing, zip lining, shopping in there vibrant colourful markets, visiting historical sites that were rich with history and different cultures, eating out local street food and world class cuisines for very little money. super affordable and what a beautiful hidden gem of a country. family and myself were completely blown away by it to the point we are rethinking ever going back to places like dubai over beautiful tropical natural countries like mauritius. we also had a friendly parrot that would visit us daily and gladly sit amongst us without being scared or shy and share some food with us.

    Great area, all within walking distance to shops, beaches...

    Great area, all within walking distance to shops, beaches and restaurants. Transport is readily available via car rental, bus or taxi. Loved the Banana Bar for evening drinks and live music. Wonderful meals at the Trojan Horse Greek restaurant and Sunset Beach Cafe for breakfast.

    For the owner/ team that thinks the guest reviews are dishonest. Here are a few pics of the disgusting state of affairs. The pics include cockroaches on the curtains, rat's poop in the living area, burnt and dirty utensils, a flooded bathroom and a dirty pool. Hope this helps other guests avoid this place.

    Excellent place! I’ve there 4 times this year. Returned after 20 years. It’s so developed .great Place for people to come work with young kids ,and older ones to retire.was just there end of May, it’s coming to their winter time. Temperatures were 26/27c . Yes try it. Flight direct is 11 hours. People are great, eat local food, it’s fairly cheap You have high end restaurants, clubs, can be expensive, uk prices . We booked an apartment. Supermarkets near by..

    The location is perfect for Grand Baie, only 5 minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes the other way to the super U, we had a ground floor apartment with 2 bedrooms, we really enjoyed our stay, the host met us in the super U carpark and we followed him to the apartment, we had a terrace which opened onto a small but nice pool with BBQ area and sun loungers. If you are looking for something value for money in a central area I would recommend this place, we will definitely return on our next trip to Mauritius

    AMAZING PLACE! The most spectacular view of the Grand Baie from terrace. Big and spacious balcony with panoramic view of the beach. Beautiful sunsets. Three big and comfortable bedrooms with three separate bathrooms. Very clean. Very well equipped. The host is kind and helpful. The apartment is close to restaurants, beach, supermarket, everything! The best place to stay in the North of Mauritius. It was great pleasure!

    Everything was perfect, from the good communication and welcome from host Shashi, to the strategic location only minutes away from the best beach in Mauritius and a large supermarket. Well equipped kitchen, balcony with awesome view together with a clean and large swimming pool. TV with Netflix, fast and stable internet and comfortable beds. Everything was 10/10 - will be back again soon!

    Prime location, just a couple of minutes away from the most pristine beach in the country. Pereybere beach is the place to be in Mauritius for sure. We booked the Queen Suite and it was adorned with the most beautiful furniture and decorations.

    I would say it was the best appartment in Mauritius where we stayed in almoust 2 weeks- it has nice green yard, located close to the ocean, good looking, clean and spacious flat. The owner was responsive and caring.
