Everything was great. The place, the people, the atmosphere. Absolutely a bit hidden gem. We really enjoyed the stay. Zack is a great and friendly host. Will help you with everything. Also, we appreciated chats with him about the island, culture etc. Place is also great. The pool is perfect. Very calm. We felt like at home! Definitely highly recommended! PS. if you like pets, it will be a great place for you!

The property was exactly as shown in the pictures, and was very well maintained. Guillaume, the host, makes sure that his guests are comfortable during their stay. The property is nestled on a hill overlooking Black River Bay. Our room had a lovely little balcony — the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee and watch the sunset. The location is excellent, just a short drive to the beach, supermarket, and several high-quality cafes and restaurants. The apartment’s trendy beach décor instantly put me in a relaxed holiday mood. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, and the beautifully presented towels, decorated with flowers and ferns, reflected the care and pride Fabrice and Pascale take in creating a warm, welcoming environment for their guests. On top of that, the hosts gave us a warm welcome and shared helpful tips on places to visit.

Service and restaurant . Really very nice staff and service. My mum has problem with her leg and they arranged the room just near restaurant .and all my requests and questions were solved or answered very well.And I stayed 4 hotels ,all are 4or 5stars hotels around Mauritius island and their buffets for breakfast and dinner were high level among them.we even had a Chinese traditional topic eve buffet with high quality food and a live dancing show.

This hotel is a real gem! New building in an amazing location just across from a lovely white sand beach in Flic en Flac. My room was HUGE and had a large balcony facing g the ocean. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with lots of variety of food. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful!

    Sure La Preneuse is the nearest beach, though If you're looking for the best beaches around, take that trip to Le Morne beach, it's worth it. We went to the only Thai restaurant in the area,'Ousaporn', indeed an oasis in that small town, great Deco, felt right, the staffs were admirable, the food was succulent but portion were quite small disproportionately over-priced . A day at the beach at Flic en flac is worth the tour, watch the sun set into the deep sea, then hit one of the restaurant around the area.

    Great first time visit to the Island. Beautiful beaches with a multitude of activities for all ages. Christmas Day boat trip to Ile Aux Benitiers, which included a tasty braai (barbeque) swimming with dolphins and snorkeling around Crystal Rock

    At the Veranda Tamarin hotel - the only real turn-off was...

    At the Veranda Tamarin hotel - the only real turn-off was that only one tv channel was in English - BBC World. All others in French / Creole. No mainstream music channels. Tamarin is a small village, full of friendly people. The atmosphere is open and you get the sense of tranquility and safety. It is centrally located for South and West visiting. something for everyone.

    The brand new SUPER U, is fantastic.

    The brand new SUPER U, is fantastic. You can get anything there, even gifts. The Coffee shop at the Super U was two times cheaper than the other Coffee Shops. It is not very expensive at the Super U. We ate at the Happy Rajah and the Casa Pizza. The food was fantastic.

    The hotel has a nice spa, the activities were nice including Credits depending on the length of your stay. The staff is very nice and mostly helpful. However, the shower was broken and the shower door was leaking water so that every time we took a shower half the bathroom was under water. The baths and toilet were not properly cleaned and the sun lounger at the pool were dirty.

    I had a great stay at Pascale and Fabrice's place. They made me feel comfortable from the first minute and helped to make arrangements for my short vacation. The garden feels like heaven, I could stay there all day! I recommend staying at Bellevue Tamarin!
